For old-​timey family fun, you can’t beat going to the Perkasie Carousel. It’s only open a select number of days per year (usually once per month, more in warmer weather), so check the borough website for dates. My husband went there as a kid, and now my children are enjoying the «horsies». Hot dogs, snacks, and drinks are available, with occasional sales of carousel-​related merch for your collecting needs. Entertainment under a buck is hard to find, so this is a rare and historic gem for the whole family.

Enjoyed this overlooked, TRUE GEM in Bucks County over the weekend — can’t beat the price at 3 tickets for $ 1! It is ONE TICKET to ride! The carousel is meticulously maintained; the horses are beautifully decorated. The rides are about 3 songs long. The snack shoppe is also reasonably priced. It isn’t open every weekend, so note the dates on this link:
