Let me start off by saying I love me some Mediterranean food but dont know much about being authentic. So I can’t really say if it is or isn’t since I’ve only had it here and at another place like this in Murrieta. With that said, it is delicious and the staff is really sweet. I love the hummus and the salad. It’s nice to have them in the neighborhood!

I haven’t been too good at posting reviews lately, but I HAD to be sure to do this one. Why? Because the food is good. And I mean legit good. And the portions are HUGE and the pricing is decent. I was really skeptical when I saw this place… don’t let its gas station eatery vibe deter you. When I walked in I was even more skeptical when I went in. It looks like a cheap fast food place inside as well. The counter is even split, Mediterranean on one side and Mexican on the other(adalbertacos). I ordered chicken shawarma plate for $ 9.99. The combo comes with pita, hummus, salad, the chicken, rice, garlic paste and pickled veggies and olives. Whew! It’s a ton of food and so good. Some of the chicken was fatty, but not too much of it. That hummus was nice. The pita was a little thin, but it did the job. The garlic paste was my love. I used absolutely all of it. I would take a bottle home if I could. This was a great buy. Furthermore, I have to mention customer service was great and I overheard a dilemma with another customer that was expertly well handled, and generous where it didn’t need to be. I will def go back here. The only negative is parking, which really isn’t the fault of the business, but a condition of the location. So get there early or park far away and walk in.

Found this place about a month ago while coming home from the base and have been here several times since. I really like the grape leaves(best served cold… like revenge). I also really like the lightly fried cheese rolls. Tonight I got their beef Shawarma salad with an extra side of beef to eat lo-carb. The manager, Carol is really friendly and willing to help with suggestions for first-timers, along with the line cook, Nassiff and the cashier, Gabriel. They take phone orders and can prepare it to go, which is nice since they are right off the freeway for a quick in n out during lunch on drill weekends. This is one of my new«go to» places near March Air Reserve Base.

This place is hidden and doesn’t get much attention. It shares a place with Alberto’s Mexican food and I notice that most people choose Alberto’s. But I highly recommend giving this place a chance. The owners are very nice and they put so much work and love into their food. My plate came out so colorful and beautiful, every little thing was detailed. You can tell that it’s authentic and not to mention very yummy. oh and their entrees come with complimentary pita bread, you get a good amount and it’s so addicting! I was very impressed with the food.

It is pricey!(2 for about $ 32.00) But the Lamb chops are to die for. I only go for the Med. Food.(Albertos is connected to this place –Stay away from that Food!)

First time trying Mediterranean food. The Shawarma salad was mouth watering! Prices are competitive and the speedy service is great! Best place to eat in Perris, I will most definitely be a returning customer with referrals.

This place was great! The food was exactly the change of pace I needed from the everyday mundane food options. It’s a must try kinda place.

As I left this place I tried to write a review, couldn’t even finish it because the food was so AMAZING it put me right out… lol try not to get tempted by those carne asada fries at Alberto’s.

Had a terrific falafel wrap in the middle of nowhere. It was only five bucks and came with a side of fries! Their sign refers to the restaurant name as «Shu Zaky»…not sure why there’s a different name on the listing.

My first time here and let me tell you! I got the beef shawarma salad and it was amazing. The beef was so tender and the salad was very fresh and crisp. The staff is very nice and inviting. I definitely would say if you’re in town. This place is a must try!

Friendly workers and yummy food. I had the falafel wrap. Flavorful sauce with a nice crunch from the vegi’s in it. My friend got the Kibbi and was also pleased. The balaclava had a nice flake to it, but it was a little dry, I like mine nice and sticky! Overall Happy with the food.

Middle Eastern food in Perris! Finally! I love med food and this place hits the spot in my stomach that craves this stuff at least once a week. My wife initially stumbled upon this place during what seemed like a soft opening. They didn’t have a menu board up yet. I ordered a few things to try out the menu and I wasn’t impressed initially. Fast forward to my last 2 visits: This place rocks my tastebuds now! The portions are nice and there are things on the menu I have never tried before. So, I will be visiting this place until I get to try everything. So far, I love their shawerma. The beef is a little fatty, but I like it that way. The chicken is a tad on the«lemony» side, but I like it that way. My wife thinks it is a bit too tart though. The beef kebab is a bit too dry when requesting«medium» for my tastes — so medium rare is the way to go. The kefta is cooked nicely, soft, and smells wonderful. The rice they include with the plates has a nice amount of sumac on it. The plates also include a lot lebanese pickles, onions, and chilis on the side. The hummus is good, but I really like their baba ganoush. It is also very tart — but again, I love it that way. Overall, this is a very solid place to eat. I look forward to stuffing my fat face there a lot.

Good value for the price paid. Shawarma and fries were both cool. Cashier guy seemed new or something because he didn’t have much knowledge on the POS and the products/pricing. A bit frustrating with customer service which made is a 3.5÷4 star experience for being what it is.

I’m so glad we tried this place out. This restaurant is shared with another taco shop so you could get the best of both worlds if you wanted. We tried the chicken shewarma wrap, beef kebab wrap, chicken kebab plate, and beef kebab plate. The garlic paste was on point and the rice was so delicious. The plates came with salad, hummus, pita, and pickled sides. The only downfall is that the garlic paste only comes with chicken kebab plates so wish they were more generous. The gal hooked us up anyway but not sure if that will happen next time. Good service, good food. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Make note of the fact that this restaurant is now called SHUZAKY for some reason, and is not simply called ZAKY any longer. The food is very good. I love the fact that the over abundant Mexican and junk food town of Perris FINALLY has a restaurant that serves healthy food, and a good selection of vegetarian and vegan offerings. This is the first time that I’ve actually found a restaurant that I feel comfortable enough to enjoy their food without worrying about damaging my health or packing on the ugly extra pounds. My only complaint is that one of the women,(I think she might be one of the owners), is tight with the condiments. I have given written good words and posted mouth watering photos, and basically gave them Free Advertising on my wall on Facebook, as well as some of the other Facebook pages revolving around the town of Perris. I did this of my own accord, and because of that, I feel she should be a bit more cordial and accommodating to my small requests for hot pepper sauce or paprika(if they happen to be out of hot pepper sauce). I don’t think that is asking too much. Most any restaurant will accommodate little things like that without issue. I would have given them a 5 star review if it weren’t for a bit of attitude on the part of that one employee/manager/owner or whatever her job description is. Other than that, I highly recommend the Hummus, the Babaghanouj, the Tabbouleh, and the Lentil Soup is really wonderful. I also love the fact that they sell the delicious GOPI Mango Lassi and Yoghurt drinks. Their Baklava and other desserts are awesome too. Many times, I just drink the Mango Lassi as my dessert. That works out well too. .

I’ve been here twice now and have had the kabob wrap both times. The reason I’m not giving 5 starts(because they totally deserve it) is because the first time I went there was a piece of plastic in my food :(I decided to try again and nom nom nom the chicken is perfect and has amazing flavor! Go here!

Pretty good food and slightly less expensive than the other Mediterranean place in the area. I had the beef kabob plate which only came with 4 pieces of meat, but they were a good four bites each, so it was enough to fill me up. There were grilled onions as their should be with a kabob, but no bell pepper — which is great because bell peppers are gross. Actually, I shared the kabob plate and falafel plate with 2 other people and I still have 1 piece of meat and 1 falafel ball left, but none of us are big eaters. Overall, I’d say the average person would be satisfied to stuffed by either plate. The owners, I’m guessing a married couple,(actually I found out later that they are married, but not the owners) were very nice and the man showed me my food before loading it into the bag. I’m not sure if it was because I was watching him cook or if he just wanted to show it off, because he looked like he was really proud of what he had prepared. I saw the beef and chicken shawarma cooking and it looked very authentic, turning on the roasting spike, waiting to be carved. Some places just cook strips of meat and call it shawarma, but this place is the real deal. Not sure if they changed their name or not, but on the menu, it says Shu Zaky. On my second visit, I got the same thing but no grilled onion pieces. It was good, but next time, I’ll pay closer attention.

I just tried Zaky’s today even though I’ve wanted to stop for weeks. It’s a little different since it shares a spot with ALBERTO’S but it works. I got the Beef Shawarma plate(to go) which is pretty standard for me for a first visit. The plate was perfect! Shawarma was juicy, rice was moist, pita was fresh, hummus was perfect! No complaints at all! I’ll be back for sure to try the other items on the menu…4 stars only cause it was my first trip.
