I haven’t tried much but I absolutely love the caesar chick salad and the Krispy Kreme bread pudding is to die for! Very friendly staff just wish they were open more.

Finally was able to give this place a try and it didn’t disappoint! I know the bulk of their business is catering, but I hope they can eventually work out better hours. I would love to be able to visit more often. My wife and I were able to try the Balsamic Chicken and Fig sandwich and the perfect Greek Salad. Both were delicious. We finished our lunch with the Krispy Kreme bread pudding. It was good, but a little too sweet for me. I’d probably choose another dessert next time. Overall a little pricey but definitely worth it! Highly recommended.

I suppose eventually we will try something that doesn’t have The Perfect Pear’s world famous pimento cheese on it, but for now, we choose this excellent sub-set of the menu! It is simply the best ever. Even ordered it for parties at home(oops, I hope that wasn’t a secret, Megan). So, if this is your first visit, be sure to try the pimento cheese and anything else on the menu. You will not be disappointed. And the Krispy Kreme cobbler is as decadent as it sounds. After a scrumptious meal, why not take in Perry and all the quaint little stores while you are there.

After reading all the reviews, this was one place I really wanted to go during my summer internship in Perry. This is a great little place with an impressive Sunday brunch atmosphere. I was expecting the menu to have more than salads, burgers, and sandwiches. I read about shrimp and grits, and I heard that it was a catering place so I was expecting more entrees. The Megnificent Crab Dip was very rich. It came out to be a melted cheese dip consistency instead of a chunky seafood spread. I can’t tell if I tasted the crab since it was so smooth and rich. I split the dip and a Blue Beef sandwich. Delicious! The sandwich came with chips, but I wish there were fries to soak up the au jus. I think I came with the wrong impression. I was showing a friend who was on a road trip around Perry, and we weren’t looking to spend a lot of money at one place. The menu was very pricey considering the portions. I still enjoyed the meal, but my friend was disappointed with the portion size.

The perfect lunch! This gem is located in beautiful downtown Perry and reflects a southern elegance and charm you would expect from the south. The food is gourmet and I highly recommend the tomato bisque! They are only open for lunch a few days a week so call or check before you go. It’s worth the aggravation of finding a parking spot on Carrol St.

Delicious! I was a little skeptical at first, as I am fairly picky & sometimes don’t really care for«fancy» ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised! We had the Turkey & Bacon sandwich & the Blue Beef. Both were delicious. Then we splurged and had key lime pie & bread pudding for dessert. Again, they did not disappoint. A little pricy for lunch. After tip, with only water to drink it was almost $ 40. However, not a bad option every now & then, and we won’t always get dessert… or maybe we’ll go just for dessert.

Pretty solid. Decided to stop while passing through. I’m a veg guy so I had the quiche — which was great. And the Krispy Kreme pudding. Only reason it is not five stars is because it is a little pricey for the area and the menu is a little limited for brunch. Otherwise, very nice and clean atmosphere!

This place is a hidden gem!!! You must atop by when going through Perry. The owner/chef is amazing!!! My favorite thing on the menu is The Perfect Burger. Local beef. Fried egg. Bacon. Homemade cheese. Delicious. This would be my request for my last meal! Then desserts. Crème Brûlée and Krispy Kreme bread pudding are the best

Love love love the food at The Perfect Pear! The first time I walked in I did feel a little underdressed(in my scrubs). The staff was super nice and made sure to explain everything on their menu. The food was remarkable! Great atmosphere! Great service!

Best restaurant in the area. Love the food and the people. Open a few nights a week. Krispy Crème bread pudding is the best around. Everything from burgers to steal. Give them a try!

The Perfect Pear is awesome! We were so fortunate to be in the area on a night they were open for dinner because they are only open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Their main business is catering, so they are not open on the other days. I had the Shrimp and Grits, which was excellent, and my husband had the Mediterranean Chicken, which he loved. We are ‘foodies’ and it was difficult to find a restaurant in this area which served quality farm-to-table meals, and we were so happy that we found this place. The Chef-Owner, Meghan, and her husband were delightful and passionate about their food and service. The Key Lime Pie was terrific(and we’re from Miami, so we know Key Lime Pie from the Keys), and the Chocolate Cake was so good!!! We will definitely dine here again when we’re on our way to Miami from the Georgia Mountains! The food is so good!

A winner every time! Whether going in for a nice lunch with a friend or ordering take out, the food is always carefully prepared and thoughtfully presented. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for daily specials. The pimiento cheese is out of this world as both an appetizer and on the pimiento cheese burger. For sandwiches, my favorites are the Downtown Dip and the Mile High Club. I’ve never had anything there that wasn’t fabulous!

Very delicious! The food here is so tasty, and you can tell how fresh it is! A co-worker of mine knew the owners and they are so nice and friendly! Their crab dip is AMAZING, and their crème brûlée’s are some of the best I’ve ever tasted! Love this place, and have nothing negative to say about it. Go try this place out!
