McGivern Diamonds

My husband has purchased several beautiful diamonds from McGivern: a large loose yellow diamond, a 1.2 caret loose white for my engagement ring, and a pair of 1 caret diamond stud earrings for this Christmas. All are beautiful. My husband says working with McGivern is great, the service very personal, and the value excellent. I also appreciate the diamond appraisal that accompanies my gifts so insurance is simplified. Thank you for such beautiful diamond gifts that I wear daily.

Definitely the best jeweler we’ve ever worked with! We’ve purchased a number of pieces from Mike, and worked with him on 2 custom pieces. He always does amazing, beautiful, quality work, and has, by far, the best prices we’ve been able to find!
I wish I could post a photo here! Our most recent piece was a 3 ct. Sapphire ring set in a ¼ ctw diamond halo, and it is STUNNING! It’s definitely the most elegant piece I’ve ever owned… simple, yet absolutely breathtaking. Even though we were working with Mike from over 2,000 miles away, he was able to create the piece exactly to the specifications we desired, and the finished product was even more beautiful that we’d envisioned!
Mike has an incredibly artistic eye, and his precision and attention to detail are invaluable, particularly in custom work. He will make sure the finished product is EXACTLY what you want, and will work and rework the plan until it is perfect.

I had such a great experience with my first diamond purchase from Mike for a matching diamond to complement my old engagement ring that I was turning into a pair of earring and without any hesitation, I emailed Mike again when it came time for another diamond purchase.
I had a budget in mind that I wanted to spend on a 2+ carat cusion cut diamond with a customized platinum halo setting and Mike went above and beyond in finding me the perfect stone to go with my customized setting, which the designer did a fabulous job on. What makes Mike stands out a mile from his competitors is his prompt and honest response and opinion. I seem to have gone to all of the local jewelry places and it seemed that I might like a setting but that the diamond was below quality. Almost like they wanted to design beautiful rings and put substandard diamonds in them. At McGivern I picked out the diamond that I wanted and then had it mounted. My wife really loves her engagement and wedding rings. I could not be more happy with my experience. I think that the price that I paid was very competitive and actually enabled me to get a quality diamond that was not available at other stores. You can spend a little or lots, it is up to you.

Mike is excellent! My fiancé bought my engagement ring from him last year and he was great to work with. I decided to have it resized and modified a little and Mike was so patient with alllllll of my questions and did exactly what I wanted for an amazing price!
