This place is amazing! I went because my kids got me a gift card for my birthday. It was the best salon experience I have ever had. My stylist was Julie and the first thing she did was talk to me and get to know what I wanted. She took the time to go over my facial structure and we discussed together, what would work best. She was upfront regarding cost and didn’t try to oversell me. I felt totally pampered and left with an amazing new hairstyle that I absolutely love. My husband loves it too! I would definitely recommend Jewels at Soto for a fabulous hair experience!

My sister, mom and I had appointments here to get our hair and makeup done up for my sister’s wedding. Getting made up is not something I’m are accustomed to — I’m a country kid who didn’t learn the basics of styling hair, putting on eyeliner, or walking in heels until well into adulthood.
I was amazed that all three of us had phenomenal stylists who tailored what we wanted exactly — my mom likes to stay understated and her stylist kept it simple and elegant, while my sister likes things a little more glam.
My stylist was Alexis, and I’m devastated she lives so far from me. She somehow figured out how to make my baby-​fine hair look full and beautiful. I gave her some general direction with a couple pics which I think helped, but she had a number of recommendations to help the style fit me better. She could tell the times when I had no idea what to do and was quick to give me her opinion on what she thought would be best, but she was never pushy or insulting.
Really, all three of our stylists and the staff were so friendly — nobody made me feel like I was an idiot for the shampoo I had been using or for my lack of knowledge on general beautification.
And the bottom line: my hair and makeup plus tip netted me right at $ 100, and I believe my sister’s, with eyelashes and a couple other things was under $ 150. Worth it for my sister’s big day!

Had the Basic Bridal Package (plus a massage) — nails, makeup and hair done here for my wedding– all were WONDERFUL! Wish I lived closer so that I could frequent this salon! Loved it!

I firmly believe in not cheating. Because of my strong convictions regarding this, I faithfully went to Jessica at Salon Soto for about 6 years. Even when we had a long distance relationship, I would still get in my car and drive from Columbus to Perrysburg to get my hair cut and colored. I never wanted to «cheat» on her and go to any other stylist — it just wasn’t right! Finally, the distance got a little too unbearable when I moved to Chicago, and unfortunately we had to part ways, but I will always be impressed with Jessica’s stylist abilities!
