The cheeseburgers are always fresh and cooked to order and they have the best strawberry malts! I have been coming here for 38 years… my parents would bring me and now I’m taking my family!

Passing through and ordered 2 BBQ pork sandwiches. People were nice and the service was good. They were both small and burned when they were toasting them. The sauce was lightly sweet, but otherwise flavorless. If BBQ is what you’re after, my recommendation is to keep on driving…

They had a big sign out front stating Voted Best BBQ in Perry County. Now I know why. They were the only BBQ in Perry County at the time I went. Nothing special. People were kind of «lazy» and my husband and I were the only two ppl in there so they were not busy but just kinda acted like they really didn’t want any business the afernoon we were there. The bbq was basically tasteless, I make a whole lot better at home. The shake was good though but not good enuff for us to go back again.

I am a local in Perryville and I hate this place. The dining room is narrow and tiny. My first and only experience was with take-​out. I was polite, and asked to place a take-​out order. The order taker was rude and acted like I should know how to order even though I told her it was my first time. When I showed up, nobody greeted me and I had to ask about my order. Then they handed me $ 30 worth of barbeque out of the refrigerator. Apparently their family meals are only sold chilled and you have to heat it up yourself at home. She could have at least told me this was the case. When you order take-​out, you’re expecting something hot and ready to eat, right? I was mad but I took it and went home.
By this time my kids were hungry and I was COOKING when I had purposely ordered take out so I didn’t have to cook. I heated up the barbeque in a saucepan and it was absolutely nasty. Hard slices of pork with a sweet and uninspiring sauce. We threw it away and got McDonalds that night, no joke. The only other restaurant in Perryville that’s this bad is the Five Star Chinese place by Wal-​Mart. Yuck.
