It seems like things are getting better on the retail side. Workers are a bit friendlier. However, I have a gripe on the pharmacy side of things. My speciality pharmacy called to transfer the script to them, however when they asked Trey at Walgreens to please hold so they can get their pharmacist the info they needed he said no and hung up. Either a miscommunication or they are to busy too care.

Yes it is busy, its 1block from a hospital and in a city of mostly Latinos. There is a lot of confusion due to people not knowing what they are entitled to prescription wise. Too much time is spent with these customers they should be handled on the side, and let the customers that have legit insurance, and have called ahead and have their prescriptionsready. This is a corporate problem if they don’t have money for a full staff. I find the pharmacy to be extremely courteous and helpful even to the nastiest customers

This Walgreens is super busy all of the time. It’s convenient because it’s open 24 hours a day, which is a total plus. It can be considered your typical drug store selling everything from make-up to single roses. There are two cashiers that I think are professional and the others seem bothered and uninterested. They are probably this way due to the constant hustle and bustle of the place. The absolute worst part of this Walgreens is their pharmacy department. Long lines ALL of the time, and very often they do not have the meds you need. It’s easy to refill online or on your mobile device and I do recommend that or you’ll be waiting around forever, trust me.
