I am not a native of Peru, but anyone who grew up in the circus capital will tell you that B & K drive-in is an institution. It’s been around forever, and someone’s mother/sister/friend worked there at some point. Therefore, if you’re passing thru, then you have to stop if they’re open(spring and summer months). What they’re famous for: –root beer –hot dog varieties I was told that I had to get a Spanish dog: hot dog + chili meat sauce + melted shredded cheese. Biting into it, I knew I would have liked my dog more if I had never left small-town Indiana, but I could appreciate my food for what it was and the history behind it. The root beer was pretty good too.
