My husband and I ate breakfast here today. The place was very nice and the booth we sat in was surprisingly comfortable. I noticed a cute little bar on the far side of the room and there were televisions all around. The staff looked very professional in their matching red shirts and ties. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy while I had the farmers omelette. I also requested my hash browns to be cooked extra crispy. Everything was very good, even my hash browns were perfect and just as I had requested. The only thing I didn’t like about the place was the echo sound. The floors are tile and the ceiling is high which created an odd echoing sound in the restaurant. With my visual impairment, my hearing is extremely sensitive and the echo was uncomfortable for me. It was slightly difficult for me to focus on the conversation with my husband with all the other patrons around me talking and the echoes bouncing everywhere. However, the food was good and the service fast and friendly. But I probably won’t go back just because of the discomfort I had due to my disability. Normally I can enjoy being in a crowded place without any problems, it was just that darn echo that really bothered me. For a normal person, they probably wouldn’t even notice that echo. So I would indeed recommend this place for you to try.

In Peru, Indiana for the day, and stopped in at this delightful restaurant. Had a Reuben sandwich, which was exceptional! Finished my meal by having a piece of lemon meringue pie-it was equally delicious. The food, the service, the appearance, — everything about this restaurant is first rate.

First time going I took my mother for her birthday and my 1 year old son, found what looked like a staple in my food I told my waitress it took along time for her to get back to me I asked her about talking to a manager the manager stood behind the drink area and gave me dirty looks until we left. I was not trying to get anything free I just wanted to speak with a manager about it it would have been nice to know that she cared about her customers. I WILLNEVERGOBACK!!!

Generous, well prepared breakfast. They have a choice of table or booth. Took our drink order, delivered coffee and water then took food order and delivered food before rating finished.

Finally, maybe a restaurant that will last in this space. It seems every time we go up to Peru there is a new restaurant here. We ate at Gabriel’s on a Sunday afternoon and it was crowded but not so busy that we had to wait for a table. We were seated immediately. We loved the variety on the breakfast menu from Caramel Apple Pancakes to egg skillets and everything in between. My husband ordered the french toast which was thick and golden. I had the spicy but delicious Huevos Rancheros– eggs scrambled with onion, peppers, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and topped with salsa. The only thing missing that would have made t perfect would be the traditional black beans usually served with heuvos rancheros. However, it was a large dish, also served with toast and hash browns. On Sundays there is a huge buffet with everything from fried chicken to ribs to eggs. We saw lots of people heading for the all-you-can-eat fest– the only reason we did not get it was simply because it was 95% meat and we are pescatarians(perhaps the only ones in all of Indiana let alone Peru!!) We will surely be back for dinner as the dinner menu also had a huge selection of dishes!
