Horrible customer service! I walked in and was not greeted at all. For being such a small establishment they should really focus on customer service. Someone came in behind me saying they had a donation and the young girl rudely asked«well what is it» as if they wouldn’t take it if it was something they didn’t want. Trust me when I say this, they needed every donation they could possibly get. Racks were empty, clothes were over priced, everything that they had was very worn looking. The nicer quality stuff that was in good used condition was way overpriced. $ 20 for all their denim shorts? Like these are donations people, and your charging that much? I might as well but brand new at that price. They had a sale sign outside but nothing was on sale. The kids clothing section was decent & reasonable priced. So that’s where my two stars come in. Other than that I probably wouldn’t waste my time again. Hopefully they get more stuff and learn how to price their items correctly.

This is a great little thrift store and always our first stop when we come to Pescadero. We don’t always find things to come home with; but, when we do the«treasure» is always unique. You never know what you’re going to find — some of what we’ve come home with: an Atlas pasta maker we were looking at on Amazon for over $ 100 — got it here, in the box with original instructions, for $ 10! The people working here are great, always taking care to wrap things up carefully for your ride home. Before you head to Duarte’s next door, be sure to wander through and take a look!

I love it here! Its very clean and tidy and the store owners are very nice. The time that I was there I think the owner’s young grandson was running the cash register and he was very polite and smart too! When I went, I found a brand new Victoria’s Secret swim suit for only $ 3! That is absolutely crazy! It still had the tags and everything!

This place is a gem! Plenty of great finds. For a mere 30 bucks I scored a parrot-head salt-and-pepper shaker set, Trivial Pursuit Genus edition(I miss the 80s), 4 shirts, 2 books, a coffee percolator, a night light, a ball cap, a decorative pillow, and a partridge in a pear tree. Now, if I could only track down that guy that scored the Wonder Woman Snuggie before I could get my hands on it!

This amazing store got a fantastic face lift and it has even more space now! The deals are amazing and everything from clothes to statues are priced well. Friendly staff and a warm welcome awaits you. There are never any clothes that aren’t spotless and with it’s new décor you will feel like you are in a high end boutique without the prices. The best place to spend my money. helping the children and my family too because of the money I save. Love the store! Maggie

This is a cute, clean thrift store that I like to stop into after eating at Duarte’s. Pricing is good, the store is clean and well organized. My last purchase was a blazer, almost new, Calvin Klein and $ 10. It is a prefect addition to my closet and I wear it with both work clothes and jeans. I hate buying blazers in general at regular stores. I find them expensive and not all that worth it for the price. Enter the thrift store and I can have a stylish addition for almost nothing. :) The store has a lot of inventory and they do a good job of maximizing space by setting up items all over the front lawn. Cash only, which can be a problem for me.

This is a super small thrift store located right off the highway going through Pescadero. They have a good amount of merchandise compared to the size of the store, they actually spill over outside with racks and bins of stuff. It’s mostly clothing and accessories. Things are in pretty good shape, and priced cheap($ 3 – 6 for most stuff). They had a small amount of nik-naks and CD’s too.

Used to be five stars. This used to be our favorite place to go on our Sunday drives. My daughter always found some items to take home(toys, games, movies, books) – but now they have a no toy policy, so there isn’t very much for her there anymore. The quality of children’s clothing has gone down as well, maybe because people who donate children’s clothing want to donate old toys as well, so they are going elsewhere. We don’t go there very often anymore.

Stopped in here yesterday to check out some of the clothes while waiting for my name to be called next door at Duarte’s. Great selection of women’s coats, dresses, skirts and tops for as little as $ 2.50. The most expensive item I saw was $ 10. Much better than most thrift stores. My friend found an awesome scarf. My other friend loved the selection of books and movies. This is a great place to stop into if you’re ever in Pescadero!

This is my favorite thrift store!!! I am a thrift store aficionado and this one wins on ALL counts! First, the prices are the best and your money is going towards a children’s charity. It’s a small store but I ALWAYS find really great stuff and it’s my first stop at my favorite day-trip destination, Pescadero. There is a great mix of rich lady cast-off’s, funky, trendy, hippie, handmade and vintage clothing plus lots of other cool stuff: books, housewares and decorations, men’s and kid’s clothing, linens, toys, you name it! And the best thing is their 30% off sale, which I’ve happily been able to zoom up for on a few occasions. The staff is always very nice and have even let me use their back area as a dressing room when it was really busy! «Thrift Shop 30% off sales are usually the last Friday and Saturday of each month.» If you love seeking out new thrift stores everywhere you visit, I highly recommend checking out this site: Just type in the place you’re headed and, voila!, you have a shops to see at your destination! My Pescadero Faves: Duarte’s Tavern for artichoke soup and ravioli’s, Made in Pescadero to dream of the day you can actually buy furniture like that, the Stage Road shops for all sorts of nice things and where I buy most of my rings, LunaSea for expensive baubles, Archangeli’s Bakery for the bread, Harley Farms for goat cheese, Mount Hope Cemetery, it’s really old and I like reading the epitaphs, taking the windy Stage Rd. to the groovy San Gregorio Country Store for great live music on the weekends. Beautiful Pebble Beach, the first State Beach south of Pescadero Road, for walking with millions of pebbles under foot and cool looking tafoni rock formations. Pigeon Point Lighthouse and Youth Hostel for some great views and history and Ano Nuevo for the awesome elephant seals.
