Huddle House

Last year we came here and it was good… a lot can change in a year… I ordered an omlet with swiss cheese hashbrowns and white toast. and a waffle… additional food was ordered. I got an omlet with american cheese. sent it back got an omlet with swiss but white toast and no hashbrowns. Accountability isnt a thing here. They forgot a waffle said it mist be the one they just dropped… told me white toast was hard to tell from wheat once it was toasted… had to give waitress menu ro show her omlet came with hashbrowns I ordered… she said the must be the ones in the window. 5 mins later. Got hashbrowns… hopefully it will regain the service they once had. Waitress was friendly enough and food was good once they got it right.

Reverse racism at its finest. Proceeded to sit without drinks for twenty five minutes while an African American staff quickly waited on African American patrons that arrived after we did. Absolutely insane. When we left, our waitress smiled at us and thanked us for coming. I’ll reiterate that we were not rude while we were there.

The staff was. friendly, and our waitresses «Renee» was great! I had the kitchen sink hamburger, the burger was over cooked but the rest was great. Bacon, eggs, and hash browns on a burger. I also had a bowl of grits, it is Mississippi after all. They were perfect. My husband had chicken fingers and chili cheese fries, he said was great.
They all greeted us when we walked in the door, offered us a seat anywhere. Renee brought us drinks immediately and took our order as soon as we were ready, with a smile. The cool came around and asked everyone how was everything. The bathroom were clean.
