K & R Security Alarms

Please note this is a factual review of my experience with this company.
I reached out to K&R for a quote on a business location. The representative presented himself as part owner. This statement resulted in me feeling that he had a vested position in the transaction. We discussed several options and quotes and finally agreed on a quote. I presented the quote to my business partners and it was found to be acceptable. Funds were drawn on the corporate account, based on the business quote that I presented to the partners. I reach out to my K&R rep and I get silence, for several days, nothing. I call the office and get a request to send the information from the quote to the home office and they will respond. I am informed at that time that my rep is dealing with family issues. A few days go by with no response, in spite of my insistence that my business access is at a total manual work around stand still.
I sent 3 pings to that email and I finally get a return call. I am informed after 2 weeks of limited to no information. That my quote is not valid, it will not be honored. In addition I was informed that K&R did not conduct «access control» business. Which is clearly listed in my request for quote as well as the quote document. If you go to their website they have an entire section on their «access control» services offered. Lastly I was informed my rep (aka part owner) was no longer with the company and that he was not part owner of the company.
I promptly asked for the actual owner to call me asap and work this out in a reasonable manner. I gave the owner ample time to reach out to me. He did not reach out to me per my request in a reasonable time frame. I sent a final message letting them know that I fully intended to review my experience and to not be upset, I feel I have been very reasonable at every turn. I sincerely do not know if any information provided to me by K&R has been factual. I am very, very disappointed in my entire experience with this company. I would not recommend them to anyone for personal or business security.
I did finally get a call from the owner, which did not repair my confidence in trusting this company to transact business in a professional manner.

They do not do «covert» cams (well). Lots of lying (salesman). Shabby work… caused damage to home. Although, they said they’d pay to fox. Some things can’t be fixed. Just wanted them gone. Bad energy. Would not repeat under any circumstances.

After we lost our home to fire, we installed a K & R Security System on the recommendation of our builder. We were delighted to be working with a local company with responsive security professionals. K & R listened to our concerns and recommended a system that met our needs without trying to sell us unnecessary features. They are always available if we have questions about our system or in case of false alarms (oops!). We highly recommend K & R.
