Let’s Do Cake!

My birthday cake turned out beautifully and the peony topper was also exceeded the expectation. I drew the cake to show them, They do not take card, all check and cash I paid $ 420 for this sweet small two layers cake, $ 350 for actual cake and $ 50 delivery and $ 20 for pedestal rental. Lisa and her mother, Donna I believe, did the cake. 5 stars for the cake but 0 star for Lisa, who complained, when returned the pedestal, why I did not return the cake board! I’ve never heard of any cake makers asked for $ 2 or less of the used board back. She went on and on that it was her loss and asked for apology. She was truly ruin all the great memory. I blocked her.

Lets Do Cake is FABULOUS!!! Lisa and Donna are wonderful to work with. The cake is so moist and the American Butter Cream frosting is the best I have every tasted. We provided them a picture of exactly what we wanted for the cutting cake, cupcakes and the grooms cake and it came out better than the photo. As with any bride there were changes along the way with the cutting cake and Lisa and Donna were flexible and made the cake and presentation the day of the wedding absolutely gorgeous. We could not have asked for it to come out any better than it did. The price for the cakes was very reasonably prices and we were more than happy with the outcome. I more than highly recommend Lisa and Donna to do your wedding or any event, they are incredible, and turn your picture into reality.

Lisa & Donna were wonderful! From the first tasting to my groom smashing their delicious cake in my face it was amazing! (Don’t worry I got to eat plenty of it later :)). I’m not a baker, at all, and they guided me through what they thought would taste good together and made it happen. I’m also not a big cake person, but their cake was DELICIOUS! We had two kinds for our wedding, 1^st: Chocolate cake with a blackberry cabernet and Italian meringue butter cream filling 2^nd: Vanilla bean cake with fresh lemon curd and Italian meringue butter cream filling, both frosted with Italian meringue butter cream. SO YUMMY!
These ladies were super professional, sweet, flexible and reasonably priced! We ended up having a family member pick up the cakes (since they were small) the morning of the wedding and they we totally fine with that! They gave my family instructions and even wrote them on the boxes so we knew what to do.
I highly recommend Let’s Do Cake to any bride & groom!

Let’s Do Cake! does cupcakes better than Sift. Their Kenobi Koffee and Lime-​Coconut cupcakes are OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD!

How’s this for crazy. When we first got engaged I pinned a picture of a cake I loved, along with about 100 others, however I kept coming back to this one picture. It was my dream cake. After doing a little research I realized the original pin was from let’s do cake. Let’s do cake in Petaluma! My town! What were the chances. I figured the cake would be crazy expensive or the baker would be total divas… These couldn’t be father from what happened. Lisa and Donna were a dream to work with. The cake was so reasonably priced. The taste? Best cake I’ve ever had. Overall everything about working with these two ladies was a dream.

I needed a really special cake for my daughter’s baby shower and I a so happy that I found Let’s Do Cake! I spoke with Lisa and gave her an idea of my vision and she made some great suggestions. Ultimately the cake was even more beautiful and tasted better than I ever could have imagined! There were so many little details and the design was so unique. It was the hit of the shower and everyone took pictures of it. I would highly recommend Let’s Do Cake! for any occasion and found Lisa and Donna so easy to work with.

Over a year later and we’ve now been married for some time so we thought an update would be appropriate. We ordered and paid for our anniversary cake from them a year in advance. When we received it we loved it, so much so that we requested to place 2 future orders for our 2^nd and 3^rd year anniversary but unfortunately never heard back despite our several attempts, which surprised us very much. The anniversary cake was beautiful and took us back to our very special day.
