Saved my day! Tonight I was stood up by a small business spray tanner and remembered that my cousin had sent me a referral email for a free tan! I was welcomed in, at 9pm(!) by Claudia at the front desk who helped me thoroughly from the moment I got there to the moment I left. This was my very first spray tan and was a little nervous– but that quickly subsided as I was guided through the process and given private, clean rooms to be in. Claudia have clear instructions and had no issue helping me when I didn’t understand the machine… lol, thanks girl! I left a member, have great products to help me with my future tans, and am so excited to have found them! I leave for Hawaii in a day and all of the stress is gone because of how accommodating Palm Beach Tan was. Now I’ll be able to maintain my gorgeous tan. THANKYOU!!!

When I came in on 5/12, it was crazy busy! At first the selfish side of me was annoyed but when I saw that there was only one poor girl working I started to feel bad for her and my annoyance subsided. She was working her tail off! She was doing the best she could considering the mass influx of customers at that time. It turns out prom was this weekend and all the young girls were there to get spray tans and that’s why they were so busy. The girl who was working(Cheyenne) was SOSO friendly, smiling and pleasant and did not show how stressed I’m sure she felt deep inside. She used excellent prioritization skills and even though a group of 4 girls were in line ahead of myself, she realized they were there for spray tans and the mystics were full anyways so she had them sit down so she could assist the other customers in line who were there for sunbed sessions. She was being very efficient, professional and friendly. She never came of as frazzled or agitated by the circumstances. I think Cheyenne deserves some special recognition from her managers for her excellent management of the situation. I have worked in a customer service type job before and you can’t always avoid these types of crazy busy moments but all the matters is how gracefully you handle it. A+ to Cheyenne. I will definitely recommend PBT because of her. I would also like to add that the horrible review that was left by the girl on 5⁄12(the day I went) is a joke. I recognize the girl in the photo(she was one of the prom goers waiting for a spray tan). She complained because she had to wait and other people were helped first. If she actually listened when the girl talked to her, she would have realized other people were being helped first because they were getting other services that were available. The spray tan rooms were occupied at the time and it was physically impossible for them to go in them at the time. I don’t know if she is just complaining to get free stuff of something or if she was really just that oblivious to realize what was actually going down at the time. I hope that ignorant girl’s review doesn’t get Cheyenne in trouble because SHEDIDABSOLUTELYNOTHINGWRONG!

I purchased an unlimited tanning membership and I’m very unhappy with the customer service at this place. My friends and I came in to get a spray tan and we were told to sit and wait until the others were done because there was also a long line behind us. We were sitting for a very long time and the girl at the front desk let FOUROTHER people go before us that we’re behind us in line. My friends and I were extremely upset and my other friends that came with us decided in the end not to get a spray tan because of how long we had been waiting. I’m very disappointed and and upset with the service here it’s ridiculous. I had a terrible experience and don’t know if I want to continue my membership. BULLSHIT

You can’t just go in and buy a single tan or a package of tans that will last you a good while, as most other tanning places do. They want you to do a monthly membership, but if you ask to buy a tanning package it’ll be more expensive and those tans expire within a few months. If you want to buy a single tanning session you’re out of luck. For a person who tans frequently this is no problem, but it just doesn’t work well for someone like me who only tans occasionally. It wouldn’t make sense for me to have a membership — but if I buy a package of tans some will go to waste. There’s also this rule about the length of time you’re allowed to tan. Say you haven’t tanned in awhile, you’re a new customer or aren’t sure if a bed is too strong for you– so you ask to only do 5 minutes today. Then you go home & realize you didn’t get any color! Oops. So you go back precisely 24 hours later(bc this is a rule) and ask to increase the time to 7 minutes. No can do, they only allow a 1 minute increase each session. It’s a modern, clean salon with nice beds, so don’t get me wrong — it’s a good place if you’re a frequent tanner or you simply don’t care about the cost.

Love all the girls there. Sooo sorry to hear that you are losing Rachael at the Petaluma store. She was a big part of me loving that salon! Her, Melissa and Morgan always have a smile on their face when i walk in and make me feel like I am the only one there. Rachael was an asset to your salon and your customers! She will be missed! But on another note… great place to tan and always clean. I never have to wait long for a bed… they are right on it!

Today I spoke to Owner or the Manager«Bill» who was only concerned about his employees, did not want to hear what I had to say. See how he treated me as you read below. Did not care one bit about a huge HIVE breakout pictures below after tanning. Yesterday girls at salon me told me I had to wait 1 hour because I last tanned 22 hours ago and it had to be 23 hours. This took me by total surprise I was shocked I never heard of this before and have been tanning for 20 plus years. I tried to call a customer service line at about 2 pm. No call all day or evening from CS and of course there only a generic automated message not using Palm Beach name. I was hoping they would make an exception and not make me wait a entire hour. I had a busy day ahead and this was a huge inconvenience. After my hour wait, I tanned and while tanning I felt stings and passed it off as the bed was getting hot. When I undressed for bed I found huge itchy hives on my thighs. I noticed two small ones the day before after my tan near my shoulder but the ones on my legs were horrible. I called PB and asked where I could send pictures, they would not give me a cell number. They gave me a web site but there was no way to send pictures. I find it very coincidental that right after I called about the hives BILL called me minutes later to discuss«my not so happy attitude» about my having to wait 1 hour for my tan yesterday. I told him about the hives, he did not care one bit! He called not even 5 minutes after I called the salon about the hives. PB girl must have called him right away and NOW I get a phone call. Why did he not call me yesterday all day when I was unhappy? Bill pretends to not to know about the hive incident. I tell him about the hives, not a sorry, he actually TERMINATED my membership. Every time I tried to defend myself about my not being happy about yesterday’s hour wait he said that was«part of the problem». He said his employees felt threatened by my 5’2″ 117 lbs self. Please… TERMINATED unbelievable. Horrible hives… it really seems to me this manager/owner not sure which but Bill is out for himself. The girl that sold me the membership blonde very cute girl on 6/1, told me «I have a paper for you to sign». She tells me this after I paid my fees. I asked«what is it’, she said«I will tell you once you sign» Make PB read what your about to sign BEFOREYOUSIGN. None of this sign first and than we tell you after garbage. She claims she told me about the 23 hour wait. I knew she did not and that was a big part of my problem the day I was told I had to wait an hour to tan Plain and simple, they stuck together. Bill says its on the window or door, 90% of people walk past these things and they are post it to protect themselves. Another incident near the time they first opened this salon I was laying peacefully on my back with my head resting in the blue plastic face and head rest. Suddenly it snapped, that quick jerk hurt my fragile neck. I have cervical spinal stenosis and I promise you it hurt my neck. Once I dressed I handed the broken blue piece of plastic to the girl up front, told her what happened and asked if the owner/manager could call me. NEVER, ever a call, NOONECARED. I wanted to tell Palm Beach owner/manager about Royal Tan’s super comfy head rests, not made of plastic and I was hoping Palm beach could switch, they did not care or bother to call me. I have the pictures of the broken plastic head rest they use in my old phone. Palm Beach took out the water dispenser that Royal Tan had for their clients. Palm Beach has no water for clients to drink after feeling dehydrated from a extra hot bed with AC issues they told me about on 6⁄1. Royal Tan Salon: I was a customer for years and years, they were always going out of their way to help you and accommodate you. Miss you! No stars for PB.

I’ve gone to both this location and the location in Santa Rosa. The girls are always sweet and there’s usually never a wait for a tanning bed. I’ve never had a problem and I don’t see why I would… I’m happy I found this chain of tanning salons.

Wow… what a great change. they make you feel very welcome to come in. The little gal who signed me up was very friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciate that since I haven’t tanned in a couple years. She knew the right setting for me, offered me different types of lotions and since I like tingle she found just the right one for me. This has become a great little salon.

Came in towards the end of April and bought a basic membership, by the first week of May I had a free Mystic and a $ 5.00 upgrade to a gold bed! The girls I have met are Über friendly and courteous. Receive great deals all the time, from $ 1.00 upgrades to free sample packets of lotion. I do really like this place.
