Pick N’ Go Market is the unusual combination of an Indian/Mexican market… one can easily pick up a jar of mole along with mint chutney. Prices are incredibly reasonable, and the service is friendly&helpful, because it’s got an unusual arrangement(save for the soda/energy drink fridge in the back, and ice cream beside the cash register) Do you need fenugreek? This is the place. Do you need enchilada sauce? You’re in luck. There’s a freezer devoted to Indian foods with things like naan pizza and pistachio sweets… along with goat. Since Indian cuisine is predominantly vegetarian/vegan, such food is easier to find(and cheaper!) than the nearby Whole Foods. You can buy DVDs of Indian movies… and keep up with telenovelas. Sesame candies, along with aphrodisiacs, sit by the cash register. They pack in a lot in a little space. Pick N’ Go is a fascinating little place. Its only drawback is its parking lot. It’s not accessible. It’s in a strip mall slapped beside an apartment complex. It’s as crazy to reach as the nearby Sprouts. Indeed, its tiny crazy parking lot is probably the reason why the mall across the street does better. Despite its confusing parking, Pick N’ Go is an interesting place.
