We were in the market for a buffet/hutch but didn’t want to pay what people were asking for on CL. We got a great buffet/hutch in good condition for $ 35. Small shop but well organized. The receipt said no one would be there to help you load up, but a very nice gentleman from the shop assisted with the loading up.

My favorite Ptown thrift store. I have so many wonderful gems from this place. We love coming here, usually once a week to sift through the goodies. There have been so many awesome finds there! Table Saw, Trumpet, tables, magazine racks, snorkling gear, and some fun kitchen items come to mind off the top of my head. oh and vintage door knobs! I was able to create an entire vintage doorknob coat rack from beautiful finds from this shop. Come. sift. enjoy.

Very cute things and if you look hard enough good prices. Not for the thriftiest of people but I’ve made many good purchases here and most of the employees are quite friendly too.

Sweet people, good stuff. Minus one star for price matching things with eBay(a great way to overprice things).

I love coming in here. There are so many treasures to be found. Takes me back in time to browse some of the items. The store is clean, the staff is extremely friendly. They have good furniture, clothing, jewelery, housewares, books, sports equipment, pet supplies kids stuff, and luggage. I like not spending money on new things– reuse, repurpose, recycle …and the best part! it’s for a great cause.

This is really messed up to say, but if you’re into mid-century, you really need to go to estate sales and hospice thrift stores… This is a great one. Well-organized, good prices.

You can always find something here, especially if you are a thrifter. If not, just look a little and you are bound to find a treasure if not a couple! The prices are great and I have found some of my favorite pieces(bags, shoes, clothing, furniture, etc.). If you are looking for furniture, this is the place to go! Some of the pieces are great as is or just with a bit of creativity. I bought a beautiful desk for $ 15, re-stained it and it is one of my favorite pieces! Skip Target, come to Sacks!

I was impressed by the great vintage furniture at rock bottom prices. If I had had room in the house and the car, I would have bought a gorgeous vanity and six matching dining chairs. This is a cool spot

I really love this thrift store! They really do have a better quality of items than other places you go and their prices are about the same as others. I have been here a few times and every time I leave with a TON of stuff. My daughter always finds a fun toy to play with and get her through the store. I buy a lot of vases and things and they ALWAYS have a ton to choose from. Love them!

They have wonderful items, always clean, well cared for and fun! Take a look at their end of year sales. Sometimes things are 50% off! Enjoy.

Goldmine. Lots of typical thrift store stuff, but much more reasonably priced than most, and occasionally there’s the dream item. Supports a great organization.

I love me a good thrift store, and I was pleasantly surprised that amidst the plethora of antique and vintage stores in town(of which Petaluma is well known for) are a number of really great, affordable thrift stores for us poorer folk where you can get your rummage on. Sack’s is one of the best in town. Don’t be put off by the generic exterior. You’re always guaranteed to find something cool here, and there’s LOTS of cool stuff, and not just clothes and housewares. I need to really remember to try to come here once a week now that I’m back on my thrift store kick. The ladies behind the register and sweet and don’t forget to bring your own grocery bag or other carrying device. They have a limit on plastic bags and rely on plastic bag donations as well.(A good place to drop off your extra high quality plastic or paper shopping bags, too!)

This place is a gold mine of goodies! Their vintage is outstanding! Cloths are clean and quality. Very little«junk» here, and the«junk» they do have is kitschy. The only down side is parking… but when one climbs Everest one does not take a helicopter. Please visit the wonderful ladies that volunteer here. Bring your own bags or bring all of your brown sacks, they run out all the time. SACK’S you ROCK!

This place moved from its previous spot from what I understand. But I was just here a month ago and this is a GREAT spot. I have been to literally hundreds of thrift stores in my life and this is hands down the best place I have ever been. They have good quality stuff. No crap. I strongly believe that it is because the staff is comprised of all volunteers working to support hospice so they don’t pick through the donations to get the good stuff before it hits the floor. When I was there the volunteers were all elderly and clearly really cared about what they were doing, how they were doing and why they were doing it. I’m not being ageist; I’m just calling it like I see it. I almost didn’t want to review this place as I feel like I wanted to keep it to myself but what kind of person would I be, sabotaging a benefit for hospice?
