One of the best cheese steaks I’ve ever eaten… And I’ve eaten a few. Great bunch working the grill too. Next time we’ll have to bowl as well since we just came for the amazing cheese steaks.

I love this grille! The pizza is amazing I don’t know what the other review is talking about. Literally, I come here just for the pizza sometimes. We also really enjoys the«T-sauce» wings so definitely try those out!!!

I changed my original review, this place is a little hit and miss I think if I could I would give 3.2 stars. It really all depends on who is there some Fridays and Saturdays no one and it feels really lame sometimes the place is packed out and it’s like a rave party. The pizza is terrible and other items there are not much better I am pretty sure they just heat up frozen items. The drinks on tap are good and the people working the bar area are always Johnny on the spot,.

The best thing here are they burgers. Tony does an awesome job. I think they have the best burgers in the area– Keene included. They have a double burger known as the George burger here that is almost impossible to finish. The pizza is highly edible, I think I like the calzones better than the pizza here. This is kind of like the Cheers of Peterbrough. Just beer and wine. They have picnic tables in the back that you can smoke and drink at. Candlepin bowling, and they have leagues there too.

This place is great. Its basically frozen in time somewhere around the end of the Cold War. Food is great, epic burgers and chicken wings(get the«t» sauce if you know what I mean) and decent pizza. The bar part is small and cozy with nice wooden booths and multiple TVs. There are also big windows looking out onto the lanes so you can watch people bowl and make them feel self conscious. They have a decent draft selection, usually with a couple nice craft brews like Founders all-day. Clientele is more likely buying bud light though. All the local cops eat here so be prepared for an aroma of bacon. Bowling is fun, candlepin is hard though! If you can roll a hundred you are pretty good. I would wash your hands after you bowl though because its pretty gross when you think about the balls your handling. Overall I say, check it out… PS try the pepperoni and bottle cap pizza(true story) and play corn hole out back

This review is based mainly on the food served at the local bowling alley in Peterborough. Bowling Acres offers good family fun locally with12 lanes of candlepin bowling, arcade games, skeeball, birthday party area, and a cozy grill & bar section. A string of bowling is $ 3.50. The grill counter offerings include sandwiches, subs, chili, fried foods, snacks, pizza, steak tips, and Pepsi fountain drinks(self serve). Specials are offered here. The food prices are pretty reasonable, most food items under $ 10 with tax included in the prices. The pizza here at Bowling Acres was voted best pizza in town for two years in a row. The bar area has a cozy atmosphere with a good view of the action on the lanes. There’s seating for about 15 people,(seating at the bar and high top table seating) with 2 big HDTVs. There are 8 beers on tap and numerous bottled beers on hand. Select 55 drafts are $ 2 in the bar. This is definitely a townie bar where the staff and customers know each other very well. I stopped in here to take a break from driving the 101 across NH. I ordered a Small Fries($ 2) and a Small Chicken Pesto Pizza($ 6 on special) for the road. The food was ready in about 15 minutes. The fries were decent, the typical frozen fries(3/8″ cut) deep fried really hot and salted. However, I was very pleasantly surprised the 10″ Chicken Pesto Pizza was really good, which was loaded with pesto, oil, grilled chicken strips, and cheese on a good crust, firm outside and soft inside, great flavors overall. I did not expect to find great pizza served at a small town bowling alley, hehe. The Chicken Pesto Pizza gets an affirmative A plus in my book!
