Although this is called a dam it is more than that with swimming, boating and picnic areas this is one of the nicer park and picnic areas in the monadnock area. There are between a half dozen and dozen grills, horse shoes, volleyball. Not sure how the bathrooms are I have always avoided. In the winter the bike path is really nice that goes around the dam area. Swimming area is probably the worst part about this location. This also makes for a good place to go sleddig in the winter but you need to know where to go. Volleyball court was installed in the flood planes and is always wet. Ranger that works here is a dick, very confrontation.
