Wow! Now known as Bella Vita, still at The Hermitage. This was THEBEST Italian food I’ve had in a very long time! I tried Chicken Filomena(lemony white wine sauce with chicken, shrimp, linguini and tomatoes.). I can’t tell you how absolutely delicious it was. Friends had grilled chicken salad and Sausage and Peppers with pasta. The mmmmm sounds coming from our table was kinda funny :) so glad to have real Italian fresh food here in Petersburg! Their dessert list looks luscious, however there’s no room after this wonderful meal! I even needed to take some of it home for later.

A tour in mediocrity. As it is the only«real» restaurant in town, it’s all you’ve got. I’ve eaten there twice due to a lack of options and both time was nonplussed. Do yourself a favor, drive to Moorefield and eat at O’neils.

I try to eat here at least once a month. The Fried Bread/apple butter appetizer is great… The atmosphere is wonderful, and I always get the Steak«Haystack» Salad. Salad with homecut fries, and steak… Then wash it down with a cold ice tea.

I’ve done lunch here twice now and liked it both times. Make sure you get the Fried Dough/Apple Butter appetizer. Very good. I’ve only done the sandwiches so far besides the Dough and the Club Sandwich was good.

This the only real ‘restaurant’ in Petersburg and I can say that is the only reason why it is memorable. I was staying in Cabins, WV and wanted to grab dinner. The only place was the Hermitage and while it was technically food, I would not recommend it.
