We thought we had a bad battery on a Saturday night, so took it to Advance Auto. Phil brought out his battery tester in –20 wind chill, checked the battery out thoroughly, found it was fine and sent us on our way (turns out the interior lights were left on in the car overnight). We asked Phil if we could pay him for coming out in the bitter cold, but he said no way. What a GREAT service. We’re very grateful.

What do you do when your six year old truck batteries finally die at 6:07 pm on a cold winter night? Some other nearby auto parts stores were already closed for the day. Fortunately, Advance Auto Parts has just opened a new location near the old Haner’s site, on Charlevoix Ave.
The guys even put the batteries in for us! They said, «Why don’t you go back inside where it’s warm and I’ll do this for you.» Wow, what service! That’s usual company policy.
So the truck is back in action, and we’re grateful to have had such great help. We keep going back when we need something else. Great place!
