This has been by far the best place we have eaten while in town. It is a must for the out of towner. Order the beef fillet and you won’t be disappointed. Small, quaint, intimate and over the top in quality and service. Don’t miss out.

My husband and I recently dined here and were blown away by how good it was. This was one of the best meals we have had in a very long time. The atmosphere was nice — very dark and cozy. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I ordered a Moscow mule and it was excellent (and strong!). My husband ordered the fashionista, and it was also very strong and my husband loved it. I ordered the halibut over mushroom risotto, which was the fish of the day. The halibut was perfectly seared on the outside and was lightly seasoned and perfectly complimented the risotto. The mushroom risotto was earthy, creamy and was probably the best risotto I’ve had. My husband got the filet over mashed potatoes and green beans and it was amazing. The filet was perfectly seasoned and was actually medium, not overcooked. I wish we had saved room for dessert, but we were stuffed.
This place was excellent and perfect for a date night!

I didn’t have a great dining experience, probably because I didn’t understand the seating structure and was given a «good» seat outside with no lighting. So instead of reading my Petoskey News-Review I instead had to focus on the extroverted boater types nearby. But for you, the reader, the more relevant question is the cuisine, and Chandler’s succeeded in that department.
I got the wild boar loin and in case something is lost in translation, here’s their exact description: coriander & cumin dusted, butternut squash, hazelnuts, apple, spinach and cider gastrique. The meat was outstanding, the dusting was powerful and the extra sauce is bread-worthy. The menu is relatively brief, so I’d guess there are no bad choices.

One of the best prepared meals I’ve ever eaten.
Ordered the calamari as an appetizer and was blown out of the water. Came very lightly breaded and are sautéed in a spicy chile sauce. Exceptional. Only complaint is that you received a pretty small amount.
Ordered the lamb chops as my entrée. They came highly recommended by our waitress and exceeded my high expectations. Exceptionally moist and flavorful; easily the best chops I’ve ever ordered.
My girlfriend ordered the grouper, which she loved. Came on top of a bed of mushroom risotto, was as good as everything else we enjoyed that night.
Our waitress was superb, waiting on us as if we were her only customers.
It’s costly (a bill for the two of us rang in at $ 118 with no drinks), but Chandler’s delivered in every way possible.

We had an excellent late lunch here on a Thursday afternoon. We sat at the bar and were welcomed by a friendly bartender. I ordered the chili and my sister ordered the fish tacos both were awesome.
We returned the following evening with a larger party for dinner. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of the halibut but they substituted salmon with the same preparation and it was excellent. I also had an amazing fresh
