My boyfriend and I bought a groupon for a 90 minute paddle boarding lesson, and we just got around to using it last night for my birthday. Whaka was our instructor, and he was awesome. He took us out on the water and showed us some basic moves such as turning, stopping, and standing up. After that, he took our picture and told us to go for it! He was extremely helpful and easygoing. The vast majority of the ‘lesson’ consisted of Bryan and I paddling up and down the shoreline of Pewaukee Lake, which happened to be extremely calm. I highly recommend checking this place out. The owners are great, they have quality equipment, and the scenery is gorgeous. I would definitely go back, as you can rent a paddleboard for $ 20 with no lesson necessary.

We went paddle boarding here as a family for my mom’s birthday and it was a great experience! Whakapaingia (Whaka) was our instructor and he was so fun and helpful. He coached us how to stand up on the board, and we all did it!
The price for lessons was very reasonable for a family of four. You can also rent paddle boards here too if you don’t want the lesson, but I think the lesson is a good first step if you want to feel comfortable on the board.
I booked our reservation online and it was very easy. I definitely recommend this place for paddle boarding!

This past weekend I enjoyed my first experience of paddle boarding with my sister and the instructor Wacka. Right from the start my sister and I met Wacka and his wife. They are extremely nice and make you feel really comfortable. We were guided step by step on how to get on the board and how to do different moves in the water. What I like is that I did not feel rushed, very laid back activity and the view was gorgeous. I already recommended this place to friends in Racine and Milwaukee. I couldn’t ask for a better experience to get over my fear of paddle boarding. I live in Florida currently and I will definitely do paddle boarding here next time I visit Wisconsin. Highly highly highly recommend this company!
