Nettie’s Irish Pub – NIP’S

Went to NIPS for a party. It was OK but nothing spectacular. I asked for a Blue Moon beer but was told they «do not have it» (even though there is a neon sign for it). Asked for a couple of mixed drinks and were told the bartender «could not do it:». Put money in the jukebox but could not hear the music because they kept the radio on and did nothing when I mentioned it. There is a sign up offering Wifi but the Wifi was not working right. Could not connect.
As for the smoking room — a single window open in a smokey room about two inches because smokers complained they were cold? Hypocrisy. Smoking should not have been allowed — I think the law was being barely skirted there. But on a positive side — the drinks I did have were good (not weak or watered down).

Edited review to 3 stars instead of 2 due to quick response to my concerns by owner. Originally said I would probably not go back but have changed my mind on that. Will give it another try.

Don’t go there after 11ish – crowd is nothing but a bunch of drunk assholes. The front bar is really small and VERY loud even if only a few people are in there and generally speaking, they are RUDE as hell and get in your face.
