Clothing options are sparse I only saw XL or XS and the styles are very 90s great place if you are going to a 90s themed party though lol

Third time is not the charm. Place is not friendly. Each time I’ve walked into this location never greeted with a hi nor a smile. Stood in line today for 7 minutes. Only one person was checking out. This other walks up ready to check out, cashier tells her«she can help you on that side». Oh heck no! That didn’t just happen?! I just placed my two boxes of shoes and left. Went to Ross. Later.

Never shop in Bealls until I moved to Round Rock, close to where I live, so I start to go there onece a week, it was very nice until today. It’s long story, so I will make it short. Sale’s person not train well. If I ask for help, they shouldn’t get smart with me, and get short with me until I put my foot down. As much as I think I made Bealls my favor store from May 2013, I don’t think I will go back there, and I will let my shopping friends know what a bad day I had over there.

It’s been well over seven years since I’ve been at Bealls and I now remember why. One would think since the economic crash that America is trying to recover from customer service would be outstanding. I went in to purchase some Clinique make up. Kelsey helped me and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very knowledgeable when it came to the products I asked her for and was even able to suggest other items that would go help with my skin care needs. Everything was going great. I did not once feel rushed by her, or pressured. Then«Susane» walks by us while we’re in the middle of a consultation and says«I need you to start checking people out there’s a long line.» Seriously? I know it’s the holidays but I still feel if I am going to spend over $ 150 at your store I deserve not to be rushed. I ignored that comment. As we were finishing up my purchase and I was getting ready to pay this«Susan» person walks by again and says to Kelsey, «The lines are getting really long. I really need you checking out». Might I ad this«Susan» was not contributing much to the hectic store besides the fact that she was running around giving orders. I almost left everything without buying any products but I felt Kelsey provided exceptional customer service and she should not lose a sale she took time on to provide knowledge. I still had some shopping to do but after dealing with«Susan» I decided I could take my business elsewhere. Although Kelsey provided exceptional customer service the bad experience with«Susan» will be enough to deter me from ever stepping foot into a Bealls store. I almost felt as if I was being racially profiled and«Susan» though my money was not going to be enough as the long line of customers she had in line. I feel bad for giving it one star because Kelsey was exceptional but that Susan needs a reality check and to tone down the Elvira make up look.

I frequent this location since we get alot of discounts for being credit card holders for this store. I will admit prices are a little high especially with a Ross next door but their clearance is always great plus with coupons– you can get good name brand clothing for cheaper than Walmart prices! The manager– Cheryl is always very friendly and tries to help as many customers as she can. I’ve never found the store to be lacking of staff but maybe that’s just me. I tend to not ask for assistance. The only thing that irked me was I went in looking for a specific shoe which they didn’t have in my size the employee called RR location and they didn’t either but she said one in central Austin had one. We went over to this not so great location only to find out she looked up the wrong color of shoe which the Pflugerville location already had :(

Not really sure why bealls exists. Clothing is conservative, selection is sparse, prices are high — unless you get a coupon mailed to you — and they have consistently bad or slow service that is part of the chicken and egg problem of a centralized cash register set-up. This Bealls is unfortunately located right beside a Ross Dress for Less, a Target, and a couple other stores that feature volume, variety and pricing. So normally, this Bealls location is empty with minimal staff. But watch out for coupon day! I came in to pick up a couple items that, combined with my coupons, netted out at 75% off. Today, the store had lots of people with 2 line ups of over 10 people at the only 2 registers, I went over to the make up department which also has a register — the woman there who had Tammy Faye baker makeup — curtly told me the register was only for makeup customers. She went back to chatting with her other make-up counter colleague. Fine. I joined the line but when I got to checkout 16 minutes later, I asked the young lady if that was the case, and she shook her head and said that any register could help me. Bealls needs to staff better — especially when they do a coupon mailing. And with a couple idle cash registers sitting around in the make-up department, was it really necessary to torture the 20 customers in line with that kind of wait?

Another store with an ample, stylish women’s size section. Yea! I will be back!

Typical Bealls store. Nice that they have Estee Lauder make-up, so I don’t have to drive out to Lakeline anymore.

It’s nice for Pflugerville to have a clothing department store of this stature. But I will not be going back. I am a plus size and this particular Bealls has no coherent plus size display. It is frustrating to walk from rack to rack, trying to find one’s size. It mystifies me why store management allowed this problem to occur and not correct it.
