Uncaring, rude, and condescending. Definitely would not recommend Dr. Boyd!

I found Dr Boyd through a referral and I couldnt ask for more. He is very sensible, listens to his patients and doesnt try to stick you with some useless meds. Im in and out in a reasonable time, and I appreciate the southern humor Dr. Boyd has. Some think its rude, I think its TEXAS. Keep on keepin on Dr. Boyd! And thanks for all you do!

I am a big fan of Doc Boyd’s. He’s been my primary care physician — and my husband’s — for six years. He’s a straight-shooting, no-nonsense, old-fashioned kind of doctor, and I like that. He cares deeply about his patients and takes very good care of us. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Boyd is rude is seems like a horrible person to me. Besides that he didn’t help me at all. I told him I was in pain and he said he’s seen other people in much more pain than me. Oh, what a revelation, there are people in the world that are in more pain than me. Yes, this man is a genius. He did absolutely nothing for me and seemed like he was being rude to mask that fact that he has no idea what he is talking about.

This doctor is by far one of the rudest doctors I have ever met, and I have been in the care of many military and other doctors. I have only met one other doctor meaner than him, and she was a pediatrician(somehow). I wonder if Dr. Boyd has ever considered going into the surgical field, where the patients are asleep? I tried to tell him what I thought my problem was, and he just sat there with this look on his face that said I was a complete idiot and must be putting him on. I got what I came for, but lost my self-respect. I am not a piece of meat or a child, and I will not be treated like one, so I will never return to this office. Dr. Boyd isn’t even my usual doctor – I only saw him because my doctor was on vacation. However, I’ve decided that because I don’t want to risk being left in the hands of Dr. Boyd, and my usual Dr’s change of demeanor over time, I’m going to find a new doctor. God help me.

I have been going to Dr Boyd for the last 10 years, and not once has he miss diagnosed anything. He is to the point, and tells it how it is. Folks today are just too damn sensitive, and they run to the internet to cry about it. If you don’t want to hear the truth, don’t go see Dr Boyd. If you want to know what’s exactly going on with you and how to take care of it, then he is the Dr for you.

I agree that Dr. Boyd is very to-the-point, and does not endlessly chat. I find that refreshing. As for his medical knowledge and treatment, he has always been spot-on with diagnosis, treatment plans, and long-term aftercare. If I want to chat with a doctor, I’ll see a psychiatrist. I give Dr. Boyd high marks as a practitioner. I never have to wait more than a day to get an appointment, and the wait time in the office has been minimal.

The wait time wasn’t too bad; spent about 30 minutes inlcuding waiting room and office. The doctor was rude, impatient amd all togather a dick head. I went on a thurs. and he took blood to determine if it was a viral infection and said he would call the next day which was fri. He didn’t call, It is Sat. and I am still waiting to hear back. Do not go to this doctor with more than one complaniant becasue he will just pick the easiest one to deal with and ignore aything else. I don’t know what made the other reviewer think this doctor was smart… He seemed quite dull to me.

While Dr. Boyd may be the smartest doctor, his bedside manner leaves much to be desired. I’m not big on doctors anyway, but having him as a doctor makes me not want to go! I’ll be shopping for a new one. Hopefully I will have a better review in the future.
