Tim and the team kick ass. They were more than willing to put my car on the rack to help me see what was wrong., they fixed it for 50.00! They didn’t have to do that. I will continue to work with them in the future, and recommend them to everyone I know. They are SUPER honest and good people!!!

My Jeep needed clutch work so I took it to Dan and his team at Eagle. Couldn’t be happier with the way I was treated, the quality of the work, and the excellent price. I’ve since referred several others to Eagle Transmission in Pflugerville because I was so happy with my experience. Highly recommended!

I recommend Eagle transmission for anyone having problems with their transmission. I had my transmission repaired 2 yrs ago and it’s still «smooth like butter!» Dan is trustworthy, hands-​on and has a sparkling personality;)

Honest work done in a timely manner with a high level of competence — why would you go anywhere else?
I had my 2007 G35 transmission go bad a couple of weeks after I purchased the car. Luckily I had a warranty through my CU and so I shipped the car over to Dan and company at Eagle. They dealt directly with the warranty rep and one week later, my car was back in action. It drives smooth and shifts very cleanly.

This place so far has been great. Dan and his guy’s went above and beyond what they were to do, and fixed a couple of oil leaks on motor that i didn’t know was there and didn’t charge me. Plus Dan put up with me! The tahoe shifts better than it did when we got it. And i will recommend them to anyone who needs transmission work done.

The number one thing about a mechanic or a shop… is trust. You trust that they know what they are doing, and will treat you fairly and honestly. Specially when it involves transmissions. When you have that, you have won most of the battle and can relax and know you are in good hands.
I have known Dan P for many years and would not hesitate in the slightest to let him and his shop rebuild my transmission or babysit my kids.
The fact that his shop has so many 5 star reviews from sane people… is a testament to that.

There are few things as rare as an honest mechanic, but Dan, Dale, and the rest of the crew are as honest as they come.
I had an issue with my 4Runner not going into gear. It was a one time event, but the truck was shifting hard as well. So before I ended up stuck on the side of I35 with a dead transmission I decided to be proactive and have Eagle transmission diagnose and repair the problem. Dan was friendly and professional from the start. He took my keys and told me it would be a couple hours to check it out and that he would call with the diagnosis.
Two hours later Dan called to tell me that there was nothing wrong with my Transmission and that I had an ignition problem. The fix was a new coil pack which was only $ 56 !!! Most any other shop would have «fixed» my transmission for $ 1500 and sent me home.
There is no substitute for honesty and Eagle Transmission has the most honest shop in town!

The guys at eagle are beyond professional and super accommodating. They were more than happy to let me supply the parts to fix my 1993 Chevy blazer. Their labor rates are more than fair, and the speed at which they got me back on the road were astounding.
Their level of courtesy blew me away! They removed the faceplate to my stereo system, while my vehicle was awaiting the parts without my having to ask. Something I’m sure most shops wouldn’t even think to do!
Dan was happy to allow me to split my payment to accommodate my pay schedule. I can’t express enough appreciation to Dan and his crew!
I would happily recommend this shop to anyone who might need transmission work!

We recently bought a used Honda Odyssey. We are very aware how quickly the transmission goes out on these minivans. But, the dealer assured us that there was in fact a recent rebuilt tranny on the van. Coincidentally, the «D“light in the gear shift had just gone out. We know this can be a sign the tranny needs attention. Both Dan & William were very patient & professional with me. They calmly explained all the many problems w/​Honda’s «glass transmission» which they have a lot of experience repairing these vans. I greatly appreciated the detailed calls about the torque converter getting hot with the 3.5 V6 engine, & a cooler for the tranny was a great idea. Turns out the transmission is okay. It was just the bulb. Called w/​a very fair price for repair, & even picked me up at home so that I could get our van as soon as it was ready! So awesome! Dan & William were so kind, funny, & a pleasure to work with. We got a great quote for a tranny cooler, so we will be taking our Ody back to get that done asap, then we should be road ready! Eagle is our «go to» place for anything to do with transmissions! It’s cool that they’re right next to our bike shop, Shamrock, & next door to them is our oil change & inspection garage! We will be taking all of our vehicles to them from now on. Can’t be any more convenient than that! Now, if we can get to 300k miles on the van, that would be sweet! We know Eagle Transmission in Pflugerville will be there, & they are the only ones to trust. Super customer service, which is so rare these days. These guys are the real deal!

These guys took SUCH good care of us. Our 2004 VW bug had some severe transmission problems. (Mostly due to an unannounced recall on the VW transmissions. the recall «expired» before we knew about it.) Eagle did everything they could to mitigate costs — even tried to find us a certified used transmission. I think they saved us 1.5−2K based on estimates we got from the dealer. They kept us updated and explained everything. Dan was great. I’m not completely clueless, but I don’t know a lot about transmissions, but I never felt talked-​down to or taken advantage of. Once they understood the scope of the problem, they invited us back into the shop to see the damaged parts and explain what was wrong and how they would be fixing us.
Everything about that car had been an ordeal up to this point, but once we took it o Eagle things improved greatly. The car runs really well now and I feel much more confident about my daughter driving it to and from Houston.

So I was referred here by another shop because I was told I had a transmission leak near my transmission pan. (2007 Lexus ES 350 — purchased a week ago) Naturally I wanted a second opinion before I shelled out $ 1300.00. Willie, told me he doubted there was a leak in that location as he rarely sees leaks there. I don’t work on cars so I wouldn’t have known either way! He sprayed cleaner in the area and let it dry. NO leak! Just possibly something that was spilled from a previous job and it must have dripped down in that transmission area.
They charged me ZERO dollars! ((Bear in mind that other shop (I’ll leave their name off here) was ready get right to work on my car))
Honesty and integrity are morals I live by. To see an automotive shop also live by those same morals is phenomenal.
If you are wondering if you should take your vehicle here… wonder no more.

We are very happy campers after our most recent visit to Eagle Transmission!
My husbands grandparents (who are in their late 80’s) have been without transportation for several months due to an unknown transmission issue. They live in San Antonio and we live in Leander but when we heard it was a transmission issue we figured it would definitely be worth our time to tow the car from San Antonio allll the way over to Eagle Transmission. We were right! Not only did the job get done well, it got done quickly and the cost was lower than we’d expected.
Before they took it apart, Dan Pedroza (The owner of the shop) called me with his ideas about what was causing the issue and explained the workings of the part that he suspected was malfunctioning. (I LOVE these educational calls!) At that point I gave him authorization for services totaling HIGHER than the bill ended up being. In my experience other shops would have gone ahead with the higher amount… but when the fix ended up being cheaper, Dan seemed PLEASED to call and let me know! I also asked him to take a general look at the car to see if there was anything else that needed to be fixed before we took the car back to San Antonio and they changed the oil, got it aligned, did a front brake job and a few other things as well. The car runs like new now!
My husband and I have actually been doing business with Dan (the owner) for about ten years now, first at his prior place of employment — Automotive Specialists in Round Rock and most recently at Eagle Transmission, which he now owns! We are both pretty crazy about the care and keeping of our vehicles and Dan has is the only guy we trust to make sure things get done the right way. Together my husband and I have owned 8 vehicles in the last 10 years (Did I mention we are automotive junkies?) and NONE of them has been touched at a shop that did not have Dan at the helm.

I have an 04 Dodge dually with 208,000 miles on it. The transmission was getting very tired and developing shifting problems. Dan and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job on the rebuild, advising me on possible upgrades, yet helping me stay within budget. Thanks Dan!

I was so impressed by the guys over at Eagle Transmission. Not only did they treat me right, they worked with me and my budget. They took the time to figure out what was actually wrong, rather than just start fixing things and hope that was the problem.

Awesome Service!!! Took my car to the Cadillac dealer and was told it had a Misfire and they were going to have to charge me $ 125 just to tell them what was exactly wrong. Left there and headed straight to Eagles Transmission. They had recently fixed my coil and spark plugs so I knew they could help me with that problem. Well it turns out I had no misfire! They just didnt program my part right and were trying to blame something else wrong in the car. Eagles Transmission was able to diagnose it and explain exactly what was wrong. And even printed it out for me so the dealership would know what they found! They saved me lots of money! I highly recommend these guys! Honest and Trustworthy! Keep up the good work!

Dropped my car off and four hours later the problem was solved! All the guys that work there are so so so nice and kind! They were patient with me and gave me straight answers about my vehicle. I am so appreciative and grateful to now have found my new car place :)

I drive a 2003 Mazda 6 with over 165,000 miles on it. I WISH I would have found Eagle Transmission sooner bc I’m sure I would have saved myself a lot of time and money! Dan happens to be a Mazda expert, so I got very lucky there! He has advised me on several things outside of just transmission work. The guys at Eagle transmission really do go ABOVE & BEYOND! They are very knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy! Being a female who lives away from home, I can’t tell you how much it means to find a place where they are more concerned with your safety than just taking your money!
Oh, and aside from the excellent technicians, the shop is very clean, comfortable, and smells great! =)

My 2002 Chevy Trailblazer transmission went out… and after much thought and a few new car test drives… I decided to repair the transmission and continue with no car payments. :) The guys at Eagle Transmission were fast and the job came in within the range that they quoted me over the phone. The problems with the transmission were explained in easy to understand terms… which is no easy feat when you are talking about a transmision. Plus… the warranty on the rebuild made me feel better about shelling out a couple thousand dollars on an older vehicle.
