I’ve been searching for a stylist that can install weave since I moved to the Austin area over a year ago. I’ve finally found Portia! This lady is knowledgeable and an absolute perfectionist! She’s not satisfied until you are satisfied! She installed a versatile sew in with leave out. My hair can be parted on the side or in the middle & I love it! She did some special effect using a few light brown tracks and it looks like I have highlights (I love highlights but my dry hair can’t handle them)! She really listened to what I needed & wanted & made it happen! Now that I’ve found her, I don’t have to fly back home to get my hair done.

I was looking for a stylist at the last minute and through my search, I found Portia. Immediately I felt she was friendly and I knew I was in good hands. She truly has a passion for hair and made me feel very welcomed. This was my first time visiting and I am so happy to have found her. My hair turned out beautiful and we had many laughs along the way!

I’m new to Texas and have been looking for a hair stylist since we moved in November. I’m from Chicago and the stylist always do amazing work. I tried one stylist based off Unilocal and it ended up being a disaster. She also had high reviews and even showed up 30 minutes late. My sewin was TERRIBLE and one of the worst ever. I was unsure whether to try using Unilocal again, but figured why not so I tried Portia and I must say she does AMAZING WORK! She made me feel very comfortable and was so nice. I LOVE my hair and will definitely go back to her.

I have been in Austin for a little over a year and have been less than impressed with the hair services I have been receiving. However, all of that changed after my appointment with Portia. First off, I got lost on my way to the office since the GPS does not lead you directly to the office so she met me and showed me in, which was very nice of her. She made me feel at ease because I felt like I was going to be well taken care of in the hands of a professional. Also, she was very efficient with time. She didn’t take all day to do my sew-​in. She was styling me for my wedding and made me feel like a beautiful bride-​to-​be. My sew-​in looks great. She blended my leave out VERY well. Also, she has some really good products, one of which I bought to keep my edges slicked down and blended in with the sew in. She was very professional and is definitely a people person. I think I have found my new hair home! I would definitely recommend her!

Just left the salon getting extensions by the Portia and I must say she did a fabuloussss job. I will definitely be returning and telling all my friends.

Portia is very nice and talented. She is up for whatever challenge and does a great job to make sure your happy! I love she Cares about the over-​all health of your hair and maintain! She a beautiful and nice person. Her hair looks great and she has a wonderful attitude and is a people person. She stayed focus on me as her Client and made sure she addressed any concerns and you feel and look great before you leave her chair. I haven’t been to a salon with so much positive energy in a while. I am defiantly a fan and plan to return!

I just got home from my first appointment with Portia. I’m very pleased with the results!
I have had weaves in my hair for more years then I’d like to admit. Since I’ve had weaves in for so long I know exactly what I like and what I want. I also just moved from the east coast and was very nervous about finding a new beautician that I trusted as much as my last one.
Portia is the definition of professional. She has a kind and welcoming demeanor, a clean and organized space and has a strong sense of what it takes to produce high quality work and make satisfied customers.
She talked to me about what I wanted before we started and made me feel very comfortable asking questions and making comments along the way. She took her time and even when more customers showed up and were waiting she didn’t rush the process.

I just moved to Texas and was online looking for a good stylist and came across Portia. Not only does she live up to her credentials, but she’s a complete one stop shop. Coming from LA and Chicago where the stylists are always on point, I had extremely HIGH expectations & to my surprise she met everyone single one. She was able to make a miracle when my hair company shipped me the wrong hair. She gave me a great weave and cut and on top of that can color her butt off! Oh and did I mention she sells her own weaving hair?! It’s soft, amazing quality and easy. I am extremely happy with how it all turned out and definitely have found my new stylist. Portia has good prices, she was fair and most of all caring. She made sure I was 100% happy before I left her chair! The whole experience was pretty epic and I do recommend !!!
