Quality Care Sleep Diagnostics

Hands down the worst place to do a sleep study!
My husband went in to do a sleep study on December 12, 2015. He never received a call back from them. He finally called them to get the results and they scheduled him for another sleep study on January 15, 2016. Once again they never called back. They did identify that he has sleep apnea and needs to be sleeping with a machine. Which he tried out on the second sleep study. He called them a week after the second sleep study and they said it would take 7 to 10 business days to receive his machine. Here it is January 29^th and again he had to call them! Now they said he will have to wait another week to get fitted for the machine. Which is what I thought they did at the second sleep study! So in the meantime while they are playing around with his life he could die!
DON’T GO HERE FOR HELP!

Dr Ortiz is a great doctor, but his staff is horrible!!! They fraudulently billed my insurance using another doctors name. A doctor I had never seen before. My daughter saw him once and they billed incorrectly and charged me over $ 150 and refused for several months to rectify the problem. In the end, I eventually got my money back along with a certified letter refusing to treat me anymore. I wish there was something I could do legally but I don’t have time to deal with it. I had a horrible experience with this doctors office and would never recommend it to anyone. There are several good sleep docs out there with competent staff.

Avoid this facility at all cost! They are a scam and all they are concerned about is setting extra appointments to get an extra co pay out of you. I was told by my insurance company sleep studies are covered. Quality Care Sleep continued to try to talk me into doing an out of pocket study even though my insurance covers sleep apnea. There was something very fishy about the whole process. If you do end up going through them, you better check what they actually send to your insurance.

Professional and competent. Would recommend to anyone who think they might have a sleep issue.
