Took my wife in for a bad cough, trouble breathing and cold symptoms. There was no one in the reception area when we arrived. Several minutes later someone appeared and got us signed in. We were taken to an exam room where a nurse checked my wife’s blood pressure and pulse, and asked some questions about her condition. Later a doctor interviewed her and took some notes on a post-it note! She asked several questions about the history of her problem and her medical history, but never examined or touched her. The doctor ordered a chest X-ray to check for pneumonia and bronchitis which was done a few minutes later. After a half hour wait, another nurse came in with release paperwork and 2 prescriptions for an anti-bio-tic and a cough med and released us without ever speaking to the doctor again about a diagnosis. 2 days later, after getting much worse, my wife was diagnosed at a different ER with Atrial Fibrillation which can lead to a stroke and be quite dangerous. She was hospitalized for 4 days for treatment. If the doctor at St. Davids Emergency Center had listened to my wife’s heart and lungs, she might have discovered this! We will never use this facility again and recommend that you stay away.

Had to take my boyfriend to this ER today, Easter Sunday! Worst timing ever. He was having a horrible headache to the point where he couldn’t function and all OTC medications were not working. There was no wait and a few patients were trickling in and out when they were getting him settled into a room. The front desk was fast and efficient and the nurses and doctor were great! They got all of his information and gave him some pain relief fast, AND they didn’t try to talk him into getting extra procedures.(We were told at an urgent care that he would need a CT scan). We were in and out in about 2 – 3 hours and he was feeling much better by time we left. Probably the smoothest ER experience I’ve ever had.

This ER is a hit or miss. Sometimes I worry that they rush without a full evaluation. A month ago I took my son to get his ankle looked at since he was having a hard time standing on it. The Er doc took x-rays and said that due to his surgeries she thought it was fine and that there was no break for fracture. I took her word because she said she got a second opinion. Fast forward 3 weeks and my son is still having problems with ankle so I was finally get my son into his foot specialist and guess what his ankle was fractured. My son went 3 weeks on a broken ankle because he was misdiagnosed. The only reason it has 3 stars is because I had to rush my husband to this ER2 weeks ago and we received amazing care. Not so much from the Doctor but from the nurse Ruban. My husband had the flu plus very very high blood sugar(which he has never had a problem with that). Ruban was able to get my husband back to normal and put my mind at ease.

Do not visit this facility. I came in to check out a bite and was in the hospital for 2 – 3 minutes. I got slapped with a 75 dollar copay and did not get any medicine to help out with the reaction. It was in and out. I did not feel comfortable at all leaving with the reaction that I had. Two months later, I received a second invoice asking for $ 70 bucks because the doctor bills separately. Doctors and physicians are contractors in the building. They already took money from my insurance for going into the building and the doctor already billed $ 383 in addition to my insurance. My insurance and I should not have to ask a hospital if it is two different entities and if I am dealing with two separate billers. The front desk did not advise me at the time of checking me in that I was going to get hit twice and have the overall total billing that amounted to someone’s rent. For 2 minutes, it’s absurd. No wonder there was no wait. To top it off, this was my third time visiting this facility and this was the first time I ever received this ridiculous bill. So it is not«normal» from what the billing team is advising me. It’s a copay/deductible and that should be it.

Well… I came in for a dislocated right elbow after a bad fall. I was in the worst pain I had ever experienced. I was a bawling mess. I usually can’t stand doctors, but this was the best experience I have ever had! All of the staff was amazing, kind & made sure my pain diminished. The doctor who had to pop my arm back in place was awesome. I left pretty upset because it was my birthday week and had plans to go hang gliding. I was quite emotional & was consoled by one of the staff members. This was by far the worst BEST experience of my life !!! If you have an emergency, please go here! They were so accurate & careful not to make me have more pain. By far the best doctor experience I have ever had !!!

I will start off by saying that the staff is friendly the doctors are friendly the only problem is Misdiagnosis. I was there for myself once when I was two days postpartum and they misdiagnosed me and gave me antibiotics for something that I did not even have, they screened me for hours just so I can leave without knowing exactly what caused me to have extensive pain. Last week I took my daughter there and I told them that she has a cough and that it’s been pretty bad, she’s been to that ER twice and twice they misdiagnosed her said it’s RSV and sent us home with nothing. I finally just made an appointment with her pediatrician which told me she had the whooping cough, pertussis, which not only is highly contagious but also pretty serious when it comes to an 1 year old baby. Thank you for a waist of time and money but thanks for having a stellar attitude everyone EXCEPT the white, bald receptionist you sir need to at the very least pretend you like what you do smile, look alive! I know RBF is real but I believe that you can make a difference with the way you receive the patient.

I don’t write many reviews and, when I do, they’re usually stellar. Reviewing an emergency center isn’t the easiest thing to do. For starters, you’re rarely there for a good reason. You don’t want to stay very long. Finally, you don’t really want to go back because that means something has gone wrong to bring you there. I’ve been to this location twice, a week apart. Both times I was treated… beyond well. The waiting time was nearly non-existent. I filled out the paperwork, handed it in, sat down, and was called to a room in the back. If you don’t absolutely need to be at a hospital ER then you can’t beat that. Both times I was there on a Saturday; the first time in the mid-morning and the second time was late in the afternoon. There wasn’t a lot of waiting time in a room, either. In my case, I needed an IV both times. Both times it was hooked up right away and I was left with the remote for the TV and encouraged to watch it. The point is, they were friendly about it. I never once felt like I was being a bother or that people had better things to do.
