Lubys is great when you have kids as they eat free Mon– Wed and they don’t have funky rules like max 2 kids. It’s just one free meal per paying adult plate. I live their baked fish and their spinach soufflé was excellent. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t wrote a review yet as I have eaten here several times. I recommend baked fish or baked chicken. If you like fried foods get the chicken fried chicken. My kids love the tenders, fried fish and Mac n cheese. I just wish they’d was their dishes better.

Great food. Crap drinks. Does anyone in San Juan use filtered water? I don’t know how anyone can stand that horrible taste. Go buy a real soda and compare. Otherwise great place!
