I love living here. With dedicated parking spots, two stories, and brand new appliances this apartment feels more like a townhouse. We’ve been here over a year and if we move it will be within to a two bedroom.

I’ve been living here since August and I absolutely LOVE my unit, which is 2beds/1.5bths/2 balconies. It’s very uniquely designed, which is what attracted to me to the complex in the first place. Unit wise, the only thing I’d change is the amount of communal closet space, which is really minimal. On my 1st floor there’s one coat closet and really that’s it. My issues come into place when we start talking about management and the community. When I first moved in I’d been tossed between this and Dobson Mills. Pricewise, they were about the same, but it came down to the fact that I HATED Dobson Mills’ kitchens, but they had great amenities(i.e. pool, gym, package collection). When I brought these concerns back to the the building manager, Eric, he assured me that the complex would be getting a pool, gym and dog park opening Summer 2016. It’s now 2016 and I’ve pretty much determined that he basically lied about that aspect. No groundbreaking or mention of these amenities. On top of that — THEPARKING. Initially, the apartment was advertised was«assigned free parking» and the lot is behind the units. Okay fine. My mom and I sign the lease a week later we happen to stop in the office for paperwork and he says, «oh I’m glad you stopped in, we have a problem.» Apparently they’d under counted the # of spaces needed so our options were to either do street parking(in a neighborhood where it’s virtually non-existent) or take a garage for a «discounted» $ 175-rate! Totally ridiculous, and more frustrating when I consider that Dobson Mills had FREE indoor parking. Community-wise overall the neighborhood is still up and coming, which can be annoying at times, but for the most part the building neighbors are fine. At this point, I’m not sure if I’ll be renewing as nearly $ 2000 a month seems like a huge expense for some of the inconsistencies that I’ve had to deal with.
