I have a completely different opinion of Septa, in my experience the drivers act like zombies, you ask them a question and you get a blank stare, when they do talk it’s usually something rude and the handicapped ride system is so messed up that people wait for HOURS to be picked up which is unacceptable, next time call a cab or über

I love the 48 bus. It’s big, roomy and always on time leaving Olde City. The people who work this bus are extra cool, in part because I think it’s one of the more popular buses running through town. It’s not like the unbelievable friendliness and coolness of the Market 33 bus, which is even busier and full of tons and tons of people especially after school — but it’s nice. I was on this bus during the blizzard, and the man running the last bus was trying to be on schedule because that was his main focus. Awesome! It usually gets detoured when there’s snow however, and when heading east there are never any signs letting you know. So it’s best to hang out on 22nd and the Parkway and look for it — although one time it swung up Spring Garden and three of us had to make a break for it! All in all a fun way to get to Olde City or near the Art Museum.
