I didn’t test here, but they do the rapid oral swab test. You know you’re results within 5 – 20 minutes. No need for blood draws for those of you scared of needles. And it’s free.
Hours:
Mondays 11 – 1
Tuesdays 10 – 12
Wednesdays 1 – 4
Thursdays 12 – 2
Those are walk-​in hours but calling in advance might be useful.

I came here during walk-​in hours, so I did have to wait around 20 minutes to be seen. However, the session lasted around 30 minutes (including testing) and had great counseling. The woman who tested me (Terri) was very compassionate and interested in finding ways to lower my risk for HIV. She did not come off as judgmental at all. Next time, i will make sure to make an appointment so I won’t have to wait as long, but I am planning on coming back here to be tested.

I’ve been volunteering here as a buddy for two years. I’ve never had my time respected as much as it has been with this organization, and this extends even to the jobs I’ve had. If you want to find a way to make a difference in the community, sign on as a volunteer buddy.
