Advanced Custom Cabinets

Last summer I got a Living Social deal for a 6 foot custom closet after a bad experience with another closet company. Great customer service and the consutation was quick and detailed. I had to reschedule the installation quite a few times due to my work schedule but it wasn’t a problem at all, they were very kind. The actual installation was very quick! I love my closet and I’m so glad I got this deal. Thank you.

I feel very jerked around by both Advanced Custom Cabinets and Living Social. I bought the deal, and I bought it thinking that I would pay more for the space I have. The deal through Living Social is a 6 foot custom closet or storage. I have a space that is 80“x33″ so I imagined a very affordable addition to what was offered. I was told it would be $ 1000 total for what I wanted and the Living Social gave me a $ 450 credit. It’s so hard to believe that a solution made of laminate is $ 1000. Anyway, I’ve had a lot of back and forth and still no design and quote via email. Living Social is no help (they are awful and plain don’t care what happens with the deals they promote). I’m still trying to get to a solution with Advanced Custom Cabinets, but it’s not easy and not nearly what I expected from the advertised promotion on Living Social. I wanted to review because Living Social is posting this deal yet again. If I want to give this company the benefit of the doubt, they are stretched too thin right now. That said, they shouldn’t be offering this deal again if they can’t service the customers coming to them from the last time Living Social offered it. Buyer BEWARE.

I, too, purchased a LivingSocial deal and was excited by the prospect of getting a new closet in my new house! However, I never actually got the chance to redeem this deal.
Each time I called to schedule an appointment, my call was returned with a text or an e-​mail. When I replied or called, Anton never called me back. Then I would randomly get a call/​text saying that Anton was on his way, when we had never made an agreement to meet and when I wasn’t even home! I would call, and I just couldn’t get this guy on the phone to set up a legitimate appointment. To me, this is no way to run a business. I suspect that the guy is overwhelmed by the number of deals purchased through LivingSocial, but still, that’s no way to get repeat customers or referrals.
I feel that the way someone treats his customers is a direct reflection on his quality of work, and based on this experience, I wouldn’t let Anton within 100 yards of my closet, even despite the nice pictures on his website.
In the end, I was forced to call LivingSocial and get a refund, which means I’m now stuck with a $ 200 credit on their website because I was outside the cash refund period.

I bought a voucher for a 6 foot custom closet through Living Social, and couldn’t be happier with the end result. My phone call to redeem my voucher was promptly returned, and my in-​home consultation promptly scheduled. Anton came on time, measured everything quickly, and gave me suggestions for adding on to the basic 6 foot unit I’d purchased to make the adjacent closets actually work well instead of being the black holes they currently were. He showed me a 3-​D rendering of the design we’d discussed right there, and prepared the construction contract and e-​mailed it to me within one day for my e-​signature. On the construction day, again, he showed up exactly on time, and did the entire job in only 2 hours of the 4 hours he had conservatively estimated. The work was precise, beautiful, and accurate, and Anton even swept and made sure everything was clean and perfect before he finished. I am completely satisfied with the work and the excellent service, and will be calling again the next time I need any closet or cabinet work done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
