AGAS Mfg also manages an apartment building in Los Angeles, for which I am writing this review. Yes, sounds odd but I wrote my rent checks to the same company in Philly that makes the flags. I just want to warn other potential renters of the terrible management here.
The apartment is overall fairly nice for LA., but I would never live there again. Refrigerator didn’t work upon move in. Four months into living there we find out our A/​C and heater are not properly installed to LA City code. Took forever to fix. The property manager that lived on site at the time — note he is no longer there, the new one seems competent — was entering our apartment unannounced and uninvited when he thought we weren’t home and stealing our food/​alcohol which we caught on a security camera. Aside from that, he apparently sent our rent in late every month which we as tenants were ultimately charged late fees for, with no forgiveness from management. Upon move out, we were given under $ 162 of our $ 2250 security deposit back. The place was left as you would expect — relatively clean with a few nail holes in the walls. Seriously stay far away from this company. It is clear they are in the business of ripping people off.

I see you are posting «apology» comments to several of us in an attempt to portray your concern for our issues. Yes, I am very well aware of your policy regarding custom flags. Believing your company would provide an excellent product that would live up to the description provided by your sales rep, I chose to ignore what should have been a «red flag» to me (no pun intended). Your offer to fix the flags you sold us is an empty one as any offers in the past have been with the stipulation of me picking up the tab for the fixes, shipping and anything else you may choose to throw in the mix. I’m not interested in throwing good money after bad with your company… been there, done that. So… what else can you offer that represents doing the right thing? Oh, I know… how about refunding our money and you can have the flags back to what you will with them.

I have not received the product yet so my review is exclusively on the customer service, or lack of. I called this company and the man I spoke to was very nice and accommodating. I explained that we have over 20 locations and would be frequently ordering flags, he assured me this wouldn’t be a problem. I placed my first order for two locations and they wanted me to fill out all of my contact and credit card information and email it back to them. I told them if they have a secure server, I would pay through that, otherwise someone can call me for the information. Nobody called. I called and spoke to a woman and she said I had to fill out as much of the info as possible and then we would take care of the credit card info. So, I filled it out and still no phone call. I received another email asking for payment. I resent my original email and reference our conversation. I tried to call and was hung up on. Emailed her back to tell her I couldn’t get through and that I was assured the company could handle our orders but nothing about the transaction was easy… and still no call. This went on for several weeks. My orders were on hold and when I received another email and called, the woman was very rude (Aida). NEVER AGAIN. I am just hopping that the orders arrive okay and not like the other review state. I should have checked first! Oh, just received an email that my order has shipped and that I can track it with my tracking number, that was NOT included.

I ordered 4 premium car window flags, 2 USA & 2 South Vietnamese. The quality of the material and holder is great as I have traveled at highway speeds a few times already and they are still intact.
Pricing was decent and delivery was as expected. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because the brightness of the South Vietnamese flags are dull and not as vibrant as a flag should be. The USA flags look great, it’s just the South Vietnamese flags that they should have probably paid more attention to.
I would definitely purchase USA flags from them again, but am hesitant of purchasing any other design since the custom flag was less than satisfactory.
My only suggestion for them to improve their services is to perhaps provide real pictures of every flag so customers can be sure of the color of the flag they are ordering.
Other than that, thank you very much for your services!

This is company ridiculous! I had flags created that I thought would be cool to try to sell. I had these flags created and they were horrible!
1. The stiching is over the logo on most of the flags
2. The flags are too thin. (Very Transparent) I put a
piece of paper under the flag and can clearly see the white.
3. The logo was barely visible.
5. I was told that I would not be charged for this orders shipping because I am
Active duty Military.
After I spoke to Ward about this and stated that I wanted a refund, he then told me that they could not do a full refund because I was not licensed to use logo on the flag. After you have my money and I want a refund all of a sudden licensing is an issue now right? Ward said that he can only refund half of the total. I said sure because I just wanted to be DONE with this horrible company. We had this conversation on the phone on Nov 20^th 2014. I did not receive the payment after two weeks so I called again and Ward assured me that he would make sure that they will send the money. Here it is Dec 24^th and still no money.
In summary, this company’s customer service is horrible, their product is horrible, and worst of all if you have an issue they dont seem interested in helping you resolve it! I was charged somewhere around $ 5 per flag for crap. This is why people like myself and others take our business to other countries. I am working with a company in China now and pay a fraction of that price and wayyy better quality. Who ever gives this company a good rating is obviously being paid by them.

I feel compelled to leave AGAS a positive review after the experience that I had. I placed an order for 55 personalized mini flags for my company, as we are launching a new system and I couldn’t be happier with the service and finished product. I was nervous placing the order given the negative reviews but I went with AGAS because of price and the they said that they could finish the job within my production schedule. The flags arrived early, the finished product exceeded my expectations and the service that I received was excellent. I would use AGAS again in a heartbeat.

What a joke! Unprofessional and dishonest. I ordered 40 BLANK flags on March 10 after being told that they could be delivered to my client by the 26^th of March. TWO weeks later I am being told that I need to pay overnight shipping charges on this order because they didn’t get them out yet. WHAT? I never would have placed the order with them had I known that. This should have been simple! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED WHEN THE ORDER WAS PLACED THAT THEY COULD NOT DELIVER WITHOUT EXTRA COSTS!

Sweet Jesus… if you’re ever looking to be professionally boned by an organization, AGAS is the place to call. We placed an order to go to multiple locations… and not only were the directions (that were clearly laid out in an email) not followed, but they refused to refund us any money that we had to spend out of pocket to get the wrongly-​shipped items to the correct locations. I mean, it’s not THEIR fault that they shipped to the wrong locations…
Arrogant, unprofessional and probably the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
Do yourself a favor and steer clear.

They sent another order. They got it wrong. Again. Totally different wrong too. They cannot get my artwork right. I even sent the art to them as it was to be printed. Unreal.

A nightmare. Our first order was executed to our satisfaction after one reprint. We went to reorder recently and what we got back was sub par — the size and stitching were different, the design not straight, and the colors were faded. All in all a mess. So we sent the flags & banners back.
They sent back new ones; this time there were no grommets or header material on the flags and banners. The material still wasn’t great but we decided we could live with it just to get the order done. We sent them back to AGAS for grommets and header material and got them back with grommets that had been placed directly into the nylon, no header material at all.
We are fed up, we have waited over 4 months and still don’t have a useable product. We have cancelled our order and are going elsewhere. We can’t get the name or contact information of any managers or supervisors to complain. Our distributor, who had already paid for the order, may have to take them to small claims court to get his money back.

I worked with AGAS over the time frame of Summer 2009 to execute a series of flags for a public art exhibit in New York City. This was a project which was managed solely by myself (the artist) and my first big public exhibit to date. The temporary project launched September 19, 2009.
After calls back and forth to their customer service department during the summer, they repeatedly told me I could not come to their production department to oversee the printing. I found out why after it was much too late; because they print in Asia. Had I known this from the beginning, I would not have worked with AGAS. Not because I have anything against print shops in Asia, but because I wanted to have the ability to do quality control over the month of August.
Although they did not want to send me a physical sample first, I insisted. The sample arrived at the end of August (which was too late, and I complained about this although they never seemed to «get it»), and was absolutely horrible. They did not print on the fabric I requested and originally approved. I received a shiny material, an improper design/​construction and ink bleeding. I repeated over and over that this job was unique, a public art project, and expressed my serious concern they could not handle the job. I was reassured by customer service that all my concerns would be ironed out in the regular production run, and the samples I approved online would be correct and the quality I had requested. I did phone another flag printing company and was told they would not be able to turn around flags in 2 weeks time, it was already too late.
So I trusted the customer service people at AGAS and hoped for a decent outcome. What I received was so much worse than I imagined. The flags finally showed up 3 – 4 days late, just 4 days before my public opening. They were constructed completely wrong, colors had bled all through the images and I had ordered 64 flags, but received just 63.
I called my customer service rep (s) at AGAS in a panic, and they did not issue me a return ticket or solve the situation in anyway. In fact, they were indifferent.
Thankfully I was recommended a company in California, and with extra rush charges and the good will of a production team which worked over night to execute the project — I received 64 beautifully printed flags by Worlds Best Banners (and yes, they really are the best).
It didn’t stop AGAS from cashing the first 75% of my check and not returning my money, or issuing me a return ticket for the faulty flags. I have a box of 63 flags sitting in my studio, and am out of pocket the first 75%, plus the expense of the new flags with extra rush charges.
My husband and I have written a couple emails to the owner, sent a letter certified — and we received no response. I am currently trying to settle this in small claims court.
This was a publicly funded project for a historical neighborhood in New York City. I raised all the money myself, and AGAS has basically accepted that money as their’s, and sent me unusable flags. On top of that, put me through hell during the production process.
I would not recommend them on any level. Had my order been for a commercial job, they would have still been unacceptable. Sure I’m an artist and particular, but the flags were pink, the inks had run all over the place, and the grommets, liners and all the other details were wrong.
