Quick and efficient service. Way cheaper than any other place I called for windshield replacement. Actually they were like $ 70-​$ 80 cheaper than safelite!

Most affordable, quick, and efficient window replacement place hands down. They were over $ 100 cheaper than any of the other places I called: Safelite, AAA, Etc… and the work was just as good.

Great price for window replacement. Over 30−50% off on other places in the area. The only downside is its first come, first serve.

100% I would come back if I needed another Window Replacement. I called in for a quote ~$ 100 less than the next lowest quote. I didn’t know that I should ask them to order the Windshield, but when I came in they were able to get it in within 2 hours.
This wasn’t on the fancy side of auto glass repair places and you’re not paying for extra conveniences, like someone coming to change your windshield while your car is conveniently parked in the lot at work, and then emailing you a receipt…

Call ahead for an estimate, when you see how good it is, ask them to order your window in. Come early like at 8AM (They open at 8:30AM Monday — Friday **NOT OPEN SATURDAY/​SUNDAY**.) Then drive home knowing you saved a bunch of money and have a quality new window.

Ajax fixed my window for $ 200 less than what safelite quoted me. They don’t take appointments, everything is done on a first come first serve basis. So be prepared to wait. I waited around an hour and a half. The waiting room could benefit from a broom and some spray cleaner as is typical of auto repair shops. While waiting I met several interesting characters who enjoyed over sharing. The workmanship was a little shoddy. The trim around the passenger window was not replaced properly. So the rubber was buckled and there is a little gap. But I can’t complain about the price tag and Im guessing they would fix the rubber had I asked. Since I didn’t notice until I got home I figured it wasn’t worth the extra trip.

Under $ 100 for my small side window and out in under an hour. Not happy my car was broken into, but this was a pleasant end to the whole ordeal.

Great value. 55% less than Safelite. The hours on Unilocal we’re inaccurate, and if you call after hours they have no hours listed on the answering machine. I arrived at 7:45 and they opened at 8:30.
It’s first come first serve, so it’s not a bad deal to arrive a little early. People who arrived at 8:15 had to wait 30 min to get in.
Ajax could have a website or some more info, but the work was up to par, done quickly and affordably.

Good place had my windshield replaced back in 2012 paid 160 for my 93 Volvo 850.

I cracked my windshield on my brandnew vehicle. I was dragging my feet on getting it replaced because I was quoted at $ 900+ by multiple places (safelite, dealer, another shop in Philly). I called up Ajax and they quoted me at more than ¹⁄₃ the price! I was a little hesitant as to the low prices, but now six months out, there are no issues with the glass! I highly recommend this place!

If you come early, this is the BEST place, hands down. A full 50% less than what AAA quoted me, and FAST — first come, first serve.
But don’t come late… Then you’ll wait.

Simply put … They know their sh! t! This is a no frills operation in the heart of junkyards BUT, what you do get is quality work at very reasonable prices. Just a «heads up» — get there in line BEFORE they open! Yes, a line forms before hours! I got there a ½ hour before opening and was #4! The wait builds very quickly since it takes approx. an hour per windshield. What are you waiting for? GO! ;)

The prices are great so the wait is long. Everyone comes here!!! If you come I recommend that you have a ride with you if you don’t want to wait like 3 hours. There is a little eatery next door to kill some time if you are hungry. The waiting area is not big so people are standing around.
They open at 8:30am. If you want to be first get there by 7:30am. Stand at the door to claim your spot! Yes it is like that. A line of cars before 8sm!!! Pack patience if you come later.

This place is great. Good prices, no nonsense. Quick service.
Follow everyones advice, get there super early. A line starts to form at around 745am on weekends.
Oh, and if you like dirty sex stuff, this place is in the seedest part out of town, surrounded by every nasty sex shop in Philly.

My car was broken into and the passenger door window was busted out. I got a quote from Safelite and the cost was $ 228. Came to Ajax Auto Glass and was quoted $ 102. That is $ 126 less than Safelite. AND Safelite told me they couldn’t get me into fix my window till Monday and I am at Ajax on a Thursday. I didn’t want to wait 4 days to get my window fixed. That’s ridiculous. Ajax is first come first serve which is fine by me. I only waited about 45min to an hour. Worth the wait considering what I almost was charge.

This place is great! Great price with great service. If you need some auto glass work done to your vehicle this place is for you. Keep this in mind if your were to head on to this place. It’s on a first come first serve basis. Really don’t matter though because they are fast! Got my windshield replaced in 45 minutes.

Walked in, told them what I needed, they took my car in and I was out of there in 45 minutes — for $ 150 LESS than other places had quoted me!
Apparently on busy days (Fridays & Saturdays) there’s more of a wait, but late Wednesday morning was perfect. It’s not a beautiful part of town, and it’s not a luxurious waiting room, but the people are very nice and the price is right.

Jerks broke a window in my car. Called insurance, they almost forced me to use some service estimating repair to $ 290.
Called dealership to price-​check — they said it would be about $ 370.
Decided to try my luck in internet. Found Ajax Auto Glass & Parts. Read reviews about them on Unilocal and went in. The lady who was fixing broken glass did amazing job! 20 minutes later I left happy with the fixed side window.
TTL pay — $ 116.

I originally went to Don’s Auto Repair to get my back right window replaced after some bum busted it, and he recommended me to Ajax. I called and spoke to Jody (I’m sorry if I remembered his name wrong) and he was really nice. He got back to me in like five minutes and gave me quote. $ 98 compared to the $ 258 quote I got from an auto chain store.
I went in on Saturday at like 8:45 AM and waited for only about 30 – 40 minutes, so they’re fast, cheap AND good? The only thing that might throw off some people is the waiting room — it’s sort of small and looks like a typical garage waiting room, but really, show me one that looks like a palace.
Hopefully I’ll never have to come back, but if I do, this will be another go-​to car place for me. I believe they’re open from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM, but don’t quote me on the closing time. Come early!

Best prices for glass replacements I have found in the area. They seem to be very busy with work and it is a first come first serve. I would give 5 stars if I could have made an appointment so that I didn’t have to sit and wait for over 2 hours to get my windshield replaced.
They do have a few seats inside and a couple outside but it is a great idea to bring something to do while you wait. I guess this is a sign of a great business that they are so busy.

Now that I have had my windshield in for a while and we have had some rain storms I noticed that the passenger side of my windshield has a «gurgle» to it. When I got it installed we didn’t have any rain for a long time so it wasn’t until a few months ago when it rained that I noticed it. I was told that it’s the seal and that they must not have got the seal right when they installed it.
It’s not a huge deal that I hear it but I did want to at least put my experience in this review for others. I’m not changing my overall rating because I know this could be due to alot of factors and for the price I still think it’s a deal — I can deal with a little gurgle the few times it rains.
