My car had multiple surface repairs and scratches. They got it done in half the time they estimated, the car looked great, they were highly professional. They even did a thorough exterior/​interior cleaning of the car, which I hadn’t even expected. Great place!

When my brand new car got hit after only 3 weeks, a classmate recommended Alex’s. I spoke to Peter and he handled the insurance company and rental car for me. Great customer service, efficient, and nice folks running the shop. If you’re looking for a pain free experience after a collision, go to Alex’s!

My SUV got banged up down in South Philly by a drunk driver last week. I brought my car over to Alex’s auto body for an estimate. Not only was Peter (man I spoke with) upfront and personable, they also provided me with an estimate even though my husband came up to get the car & we did not get the work completed (as of yet). I am waiting to hear back from my insurance on the drunken ladies status (I doubt she has insurance) but I wouldn’t hesitate to take my car there for repair when the mess is all straightened out with deductible & who is paying what. Thank you Alex Auto Body & Peter for your help thus far. I got a new repair shop in my new neighborhood. This won’t be the last ding on my car!

Not only did they fix my car in record timing after a fender bender, but they also called my insurance company and dealt with them directly for me. I was able to have my deductible waived and had to pay nothing out of pocket. Great service and very helpful when trying to navigate through insurance nightmares!

I don’t know what David’s talking about with that review. The staff not only made my car look like a million bucks (the detailing alone was fantastic!) but they made me feel like I was part of the family.
My car was hit in a hit-​and-​run at 6pm on a friday night. Alex himself walked the few blocks over to look at my car. They towed it to their place and took good care of it. Lena at the front desk was so warm and comforting, calling me «hun» at the close of every phone call. My insurance said that I would have to pay for the new tire the needed to put on, Lena said that they don’t do that and just took off the cost.
When I was leaving the shop with my beautiful car that was done ahead of schedule Alex and his brother (never caught his name) were joking and laughing with me (again at 5:30pm on a friday night). Alex’s brother even put on my new parking permit — no rush to get me out the door. The two men were joking around and the brother asked me who I thought was older. Alex was whispering in my ear «tell him it’s him, tell him it’s him» so I said to the brother, «I think you’re the older one!» the two got such a kick out of it that Alex actually gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek! I have never had a mechanic/​someone who worked on my car treat me so warmly.
At a time when I was feeling like common decency was at an all time low (let me remind you that someone hit my PARKED CAR and left without leaving any information) Alex’s Auto Body made me feel like I was part of a community and that I was cared for. My car looks better than when I first got it. Great work done by great people.

I can’t say anything about the treatment of employees, but I can say that they really helped me out when I needed it. I was in an accident and went to Alex’s on recommendation of auto image on 7^th and Washington. Needless to say, i was very frazzled from being in an accident among other things. Lena, the receptionist was my savior. She called to get my police report number. Then she called my insurance company to report the claim. The insurance rep kept her in the phone for an hour and a half, which is not normal. The rep was overly rude and if I were calling in, I would have cursed her out myself.
The car took about two and a half weeks to complete the work since most the parts ordered were oem. When I picked up the car, it was completely detailed inside and outside. The inside looked completely brand new again. Both Lena and Alex were so nice to me, despite all my phone calls to check in on the car.

I would never, ever, ever take my car to be serviced here based solely on how the owner/​manager treats his employees. I live in the neighborhood and unfortunately hear this douchebag constantly yelling at, cursing at, and beating down his employees. I can’t imagine anyone ever deserving this sort of treatment on a daily basis.
I hope someone takes the time to report this douchebag and I hope the employees have enough pride and respect to look for a more positive and rewarding work environment.
