My experience with this company is like a script from a bad Hollywood movie. To begin I purchased to trucks from Am Fleet, within a 6 month time span. Both of the trucks were «inspected upon purchase, and i was told that they were in good condition and passed inspections. The only issue I was informed of was the ABS light being on, which I was told was due to a «bad sensor».
After taking the truck in for a PM, I was given an estimate for services. After asking about the credit of $ 450.00, I was due, suddenly my bill shot up and the truck needed all kinds of repairs. Repairs that could not have happened in the time span that pasted since the original «inspection» upon purchase.
This leads me to believe that the original inspection was not done properly and I was swindled, then double billed to avoid actually giving me a credit.
I was in talks about a third truck being purchased, however after this experience I am certain that that would not be a wise idea, as I do not want to be taken advantage of again.
I will be forwarding this to the BBB, the attorney general, Unilocal,and my attorney, and I am seeking a refund of the money that was put out in order to get my truck back.
