Last summer when visiting East Passyunk I fell in love with the watches in Analog Watch Company’s window. I’m not much of a splurger, so it wasn’t until I going home that I decided to shell out my money because I couldn’t live without one of these watches. The original series has a beautiful and delicate overlay of wood on the leather band. I was a bit apprehensive about damaging the watch, but proceeded to wear it almost everyday. After about six months wear, one of the two keepers that holds the strap down started wearing funny so I removed it. Because there was another one, the watch was still perfectly functional. The band was exhibiting a lot of cracking and wear, but I didn’t mind because the whole piece is still such a conversation starter. Almost exactly a year after buying the watch I found myself in the neighborhood again and headed over to the storefront to buy a new band. They told me that they had redesigned the wooden band so the grain is now horizontal which lends itself to less cracking as it wears. I offered a new band, which would not perfectly match the face, or a whole new watch! I was so pleased with the customer service that I went straight home and backed their kickstarter so I can get one of their new marble pieces.

This is a great company! Cool and unique concept, and environmentally friendly to boot! I originally saw the watch I wanted on the MoMa website and ordered it from . When I received the watch, it didn’t look like the picture on MoMa and it wasn’t what I was expecting. So I left a review that stated such, and one of the owners miraculously and meticulously tracked me down by finding the same username I used on youtube(YOUTUBE!) just to remedy the situation! Amazing. Seriously. What company do you know would go to such lengths to please a customer?! I am in complete awe of how accommodating they have been in resolving the situation. I’m seriously recommending them to all my friends!
