Tried to charge me five extra dollars because of the length of my hair at the last minute. After I started to pay, the owner try to cheat me out of my change TWICE. Make sure you bring a calculator to prove you know how to add and subtract.

I don’t expect 5-star treatment at a Dominican salon and I didn’t receive such treatment here. Obnoxiously long wait when I was the only customer. Beauty salon owner sexually harassed regular customers. Hair was done not in the typical way, usually Dominicans are known for their amazing blow-out that doesn’t need a flat iron. However, this stylist didn’t blow out my hair well and needed to flat iron my hair after the blow out. The only good thing was there was no price inflation. I was charged $ 35 just like the sign out front said.

This is the only Dominican salon I have been to so I can’t really compare it to another place; however, they are great with knowing how to press, straighten, blow out(or whatever you want to call it) your hair if it’s kinky, curly or if you just really need it to be bone straight. I don’t care for their styling or curing(very old lady ish). If your hair is longer, it’s not bad because the curls can drop. Also, they are not into hair care, just straightening They are cheap, take credit card(what I used) and have a ok looking salon(ugly drop ceilings). The people that work there do tend to talk in their language and customer service is not priority just like a tip isn’t! Lol Simple place to get your hair straighten, nothing more, nothing less. I’ve been here 4 times.
