Better Off Bowling

Love Sunday Fundays? Then join a team on Better off Bowling.
I’ve bowled on a team for Better Off Bowling for a few seasons now (I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gutter!!), and have had a ton of fun! I originally joined the team of independent participants, and met a bunch of great people who have become some of my close friends here in Philly.
Your participant fee includes about 6 games, and all of your shoe rentals. All you do is show up, get your shoes, go to your pre-​assigned lane and start bowling! You have a timed 90 minutes to bowl, and depending on the size of your team, you can usually get two games in.
There are usually specials at Lucky Strike, but they partner with McGillans for the post bowling after party — and we all know what happens when you end up at McGillans — Shenanigans and Flip Cup galore.
They have a End-​Of-​Season party as well — which I have never been able to attend :(- but they have free kegs, games, and other fun as well.

Where can you combine a lazy Sunday afternoon with Beer and Bowling? With Better Off Bowling! The price to bowl over the course of a season is pretty reasonable-​especially as you get to bowl at Lucky Strikes in Center City!
Great way to get out and socialize too in a relaxed setting. Regardless of my team’s bowling skill, our group is having a good time out and enjoying the drink specials and bowling.
