Awesome truck at Drexel. Always get the beef lunch special with rice and beans, no salad. Meat is delicious, and I always pay a few extra bucks for extra meat. Highly recommend. Nice people too.

I was in the need for something different for lunch and BrazBQ definitely hit the sweet spot! Apparently, they are usually parked at or near 30th street station but on my lunch break they were parked at Love Park. I payed around $ 8 for the chicken sub, other options are: pork or brisket, and the cook(who is Brazilian) did not disappoint. The shredded chicken was moist and well seasoned! I am already on the lookout for the next time BrazBQ makes an appearance!

We had their food at a local brewery. We actually only went for the food. It was amazing!!!

Just had the rice and beans platter from the truck located today at Levante brewery in West Chester. Was so perfect… just the right amount of smoky and salty with brisket. The smoked tomato aioli on the rice was amazing. Ate it with the Bianco beer… great combo. The guys in the truck were nice and great to talk to. keep making good food!!!

I ordered the lunch special with steak —(choice of steak or chicken wrapped in bacon over rice, with a salad) Ask if I wanted hot sauce or BBQ sauce — I got nothing that resembled what was ordered; I received dry over cook beef over rice, and a mayo loaded salad — no bacon, no sauce. At least they could’ve put the sauce on it to hide the poor quality of the overcooked(I asked for med) gristled meat they are serving. Would have been nice to give me the option to not have mayo on my salad too. Seriously! Don’t waste your money(it was $ 9 — not cheap for a truck) or your time.

The most delicious food I’ve had on this or any other trip. I’m coming back to Philly just for this food. It was fantastic!

pretty good food, but double check your order to make sure it’s right. don’t ever get the salad. try twice sticking with their sandwiches, no need to be a regular, value ratio for a foodtruck not very good.

The owner of the truck reached out to apologize for the mistake of scorching the prior sandwich I got here. He served me one today that was made properly, and it was excellent. He had more assistants with him today, and they seemed to be paying attention to details. Would try again.

This is a 4.5 star review. 1st time to truck at Love Park today. Ordered the hamburgao. It had everything. Juicy, well seasoned steak, ham, bacon, egg, corn and other toppings. The potato sticks were nostalgic of childhood. The sandwich had good flavor, texture & seasoning! My only minor complaint was the bread roll. It was a bit dominating over the other components. I ended with more bread than innards of the sandwich. I would rather have less bread… Good stuff! Staff was very nice & pleasant. Wait time was very reasonable from time of ordered placed to receipt. Will visit again!

After reading all the excellent reviews on here, I thought I must stop by and try this truck that I walk by regularly. I ordered the Hambergao, which seems to be one of their most popular items. I wasn’t as blown away as so many before me. The sandwich is large and filling, but mine was too salty and seemed a little dry. It’s also super messy to eat, but I could forgive that part if the taste was better. I’d give them another shot and try something different, but I’m not in a rush to go back.

Adriano is a gentleman and a scholar. The brazilian cheesesteak is superb — if they’ve got grilled pineapple, get some on it. Prices are on par with those of other ‘named’ food trucks, but perfectly reasonable considering the amount of food you get. One of my favorite trucks around Drexel.

This place is amazing! I don’t even know where to begin on telling you how amazing this truck is. From the service to the food, this truck is, hands down, one of the best. Hamburgao — steak, ham, egg, potatoes, sauce, etc, etc. Yes, that’s right, all of this stuff comes on the sandwich. You might think it’s overdoing it, but all the ingredients that are put into this thing goes well together. At first bite, it was a «Mmmm» with a full mouth. Second bite, same thing, and it continues until I finish the whole thing. Not one word came out of mine or my partners mouths until we finished. You may thing«steak on a sandwich? that must be tough to eat», but the steak falls apart in your mouth. It was seasoned so well and so moist. One thing I wished it had more of was the sauce. It was delicious, but I didn’t have it with every bite. Overall: Come here! I told my wife about it and she can’t wait to check it out now. I think she said she might go for lunch today since they’re in Love Park.

I love this food truck! The people that work in the truck are friendly and helpful. Yesterday a co worker and I called him to see if they were on Drexel’s Campus because they hadn’t been for a while. He answered and told us where he was planning to be the next few days. Besides the customer service the food is amazing. This is hands down everyone in the office’s favorite lunch spot. I personally think the chicken/steak wrap is where it’s at! The grilled pineapple is pretty good. One of my co workers suggested getting the grilled pineapple on my wrap. It was good, but I liked it better with out the pineapple. They is very accommodating and takes suggestions for future items. Definitely check out this truck… where ever he is! I would get my lunch here every day if I could.

4.5 stars, to be fair. BrazBQ is one of the best lunch trucks we’ve had in our Callowhill office parking lot in ages. The food is tasty(I’ve had the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich & the Steak Sandwich — both $ 7), and I’ve found the steak to be of top-notch quality. I love the ingredients added; the shoestring potatoes, which were very much like thin french fries, were such a fun addition to my steak sandwich today. I also agree with the other reviewers that the truck owner, and all staff, are friendly and fun to order from(can’t be said for all food truck employees, trust me!). What would give them that extra half star? I think BrazBQ needs a few more menu items, or things that could be added as sides, since the sandwiches are awesome but don’t fill me quite as much as I’d like. The pineapple dessert is alright, but not worth the $ 4 price, and isn’t really quite the side I was hoping for. Something like fries/chips/soup/salad/whatever Brazil is known for. Just to repeat — food and service here are delish. Worth a visit, and a second, and possibly a spot in the lunch rotation.

Man, the Penn/Drexel area is food truck paradise, a veritable United Nations of culinary choices. I stumbled upon BrazBQ this afternoon and at the suggestion of the super-friendly owner, I chose the hamburgão with a guarina soda chaser. The hamburgão was pretty freakin’ decadent. A burger topped with steak, ham, egg, fried potato sticks, and corn! It hit the spot. It would’ve been perfect if the sauce had a little more bite to it, though; then again, there was sriracha right in front of me and I passed it up. I don’t make it to the Penn/Drexel area that often, but on my next visit, BrazBQ will be the first food truck I seek out. The owner asked me if I worked nearby and it nearly broke my heart to tell him I was only visiting! I have to mention the owner again. He really should give seminars on customer service to food truck vendors. Seemed like the kind of guy that would remember your name on your second visit. Between the great service and the uniqueness of his food, I predict BrazBQ will be a big success.

More than a few years ago, a long stay in Salvador, Bahia changed my life. On the sweltering streets of the old colonial capital of Brazil, I ate and drank and laughed my way into the first stages of the man I am today. The BrazBQ truck, as the saying goes, «me deixou cheio de saudades» for the sights, sounds and rhythms of that summer long ago. Expensive, Americanized churascarias be damned, the most belly bossa nova for your buck is right here.

The Braz BQ hamburgão is an acceptable lunch. It is super filling. Its strengths are in its size, uniqueness(egg, corn, potato sticks on a burger? Yes give me that), and the kindness of the owner. He is a cool guy. That being said, the meat is a little bit tough. That’s all. It didn’t blow me away but I didn’t dislike it. This is a fine lunch option.

WARNING: The hamburgão or «big burger» is not – I repeat NOT – a burger. It is far beyond a burger. It’s a mound of sliced churrasco steak(!) piled on top of lettuce, tomato, and ham and smothered with cheese, bacon, fresh corn, and crunchy potato sticks. And it is delicious. Aside from the churrasco being perfectly seasoned and in ideal proportion to the rest of the toppings, the different textures make this one of the most unique sandwiches I’ve had in recent memory. The egg adds richness, and the corn lends a sweet crisp pop while the potato sticks add crunch and a little extra salt. The only thing it could use is a tiny bit of heat – chimichurri, perhaps? Definitely a welcome addition to Drexel’s 33rd Street food truck clique. In related news, I’ll be having salad and shame for dinner tonight.
