Bruce Slemmer Hair

Bruce saved my YELLOW BRASSY HAIR that no one could fix… I have natural dark brown hair so it’s very hard to pull my hair to ash blonde, but Bruce does it!!! I recommend him to anyone who is looking for beautiful highlights!!! He is personable and makes your experience delightful! I’ve been going to him for 4 years.

First off, this is my second review. The first time I posted it, Unilocal listed it as «not recommended» because I am a new member. It was a 5 star review then and still is now. I am rewriting it with the hopes it will post correctly this time.
I’m so happy I found Bruce. As every blonde knows, when your blonde’s not right, nothing’s right in the world! After going to an upscale salon for a year and a half, I decided to go elsewhere. My color never right. It was always too warm and brassy. I never felt I was getting blonde enough. When I started researching «best colorists for blondes», I found Bruce :) He spent 4 hours with me at my appointment. There was no running between other clients. He gave me his undivided attention and really listened to me. And boy, did he deliver. My color is back to the buttery blonde that I had been striving for. He gave me an awesome cut and blowout, and he’s a sweetheart to boot. I can’t recommend Bruce highly enough!

I could not praise Bruce enough! I have been on an endless hunt for someone who can take my practically black hair and transform me into a blonde goddess. Well I finally found my man! Whether a full head or face framing you leave looking and feeling absolutely amazing. He has a follower in this girl! Great haircuts and blowouts as well. Very accommodating with appointments. I honestly have trouble sleeping the night before my appointment because I’m so excited to feel and look beautiful the next day!

Bruce is amazing! My hair was a mess of roots and yellow brassy blonde from a box job, and he managed to make it a beautiful white blonde with not a root in sight, and that usually does not happen with other salon highlights that I’ve gotten. He is amazingly talented. Can’t wait to go back and see what he can do next! And if you get to dave’s for the morning appointment, you might be able to get in on the breakfast order!

Bruce Slemmer is an amazing colorist especially with blonde coloring and highlights. I also got a haircut at my appointment and was amazed at how easy it was to blow-​dry the next day, the cut worked so well with the natural texture of the hair. I have never had someone highlight my hair so beautifully, and I am extremely grateful to have been referred to him. He is very thoughtful about the color process and you end up with perfect results!

Bruce is the most talented colorist. I had my hair colored at top salons like Oribe in Miami and Oscar Blondi in NYC before I found Bruce in Philadelphia. I fly to Philly to get my hair colored. He is very talented and a color genius. I receive so many compliments on my blonde color. Bruce does not rush and uses a lot of foils to create a beautiful natural hair color. If you have blonde hair, Bruce uses wella products that are the best color for blonde hair. I have tried various color such as goldwell, loreal, joico and nothing compares to the beautiful results from wella color. His prices are very reasonable and he is very accommodating with appointments.
