Mediocre place that will do the trick if you’re at DRL or Education Commons and need a bite. I mainly go here to get snacks or quick things, but have also tried the sandwiches and smoothies. Sandwiches are mediocre. I avoid getting them if possible, because I think they are pretty overpriced for a sandwich I could make at home. The shakes/smoothies are good, and they have a lot of options for flavors and adding or skipping the protein powder. The staff is friendly which is a plus, and there is some room for studying if you want a change of location. They aren’t set up to handle a ton of people, so if there is an event, you may have to wait a while for food that needs to be prepared!

This part of university city is a bit of a food desert so I think this is the best place to eat if you’re in this part of campus. Fast, friendly service, shakes are all really really good and they have a variety of sandwiches.

I visit this restaurant several times a week in between classes. The food is great, and there are a lot of very healthy options. This is also a great place to get a smoothie, and they have just about every flavor you could ask for. The environment is great for studying, and I often spend a lot of time here. If you are looking for a great place to grab lunch on campus, I highly recommend Brysi!

I tried the caprese sandwich here last week, and it was better than I expected. The service was friendly and quick, the portions were big, and the ingredients tasted really fresh. My iced coffee was nothing special and maybe tasted a little stale, but that wasn’t a huge deal. This seems like a good bet for lunch to go.

«Hi can I help you?» «Yes, your breakfast sandwiches sound good. Are they made with real eggs?» «Nope!» “Okay. Bye!“ Also, the chicken tastes like rubber.

This spot is totally out of the way unless you’re an athlete of some sort. I only discovered it when I went to check out Penn Park. The décor inside is very cafeteria-ish. I didn’t like it much. Outside though is beautiful with the new renovations, so not much of a problem if the weather is nice. As for the food, I’ve only tried the Chicken Caesar. Not a very good deal at $ 7. You’d be much better off over at Picnic for the same amount. The salad is very tiny and the ingredients subpar. However, they have a wide pannini and protein shake menu(not to mention the array of energy bars), so it’s possible I only tried their weakest point. Really was hoping to discover a hidden gem, but probably won’t be back without extraordinary reason.

I stopped in once to grab a quick breakfast recently. The staff seemed fairly knowledgable and let me ask questions as I pondered their large smoothie menu. After asking the staffer for a recommendation, I got the Peanut Butter Cup(quite the meal beverage for 5.50 … it was HUGE!) which consists of: Skim or Organic Soy Milk blended with natural Peanut Butter, low-fat Vanilla Cream and 40g of Chocolate Whey Protein. 40g of protein is waaaaay too much for a smaller female like me, so the guy agreed to do only half of the normal amount. i have to say, it was really tasty. probably horribly high in calories, but that’s ok. the rest of the menu looks good, and I’m looking forward to trying it! my only advice to them: put the approximate calories on the menu. you’re marketing to fitness buffs and we want to know.

Work makes me tired, so when lunchtime rolls around, I’m usually more in the mood to sit down for a meal rather than wait at a food truck. Brysi has a great selection of healthy sandwiches with high quality ingredients, as well as salads and smoothies. The people who work there are also very friendly. I haven’t really tested this theory, but I get the feeling that you could probably do a fair amount of customization with the sandwiches, especially since some of their special sandwiches are described as «customer creations.» One of my favorites is one of those customer creations, the«sticky monkey,» which consists of peanut butter, banana, honey, and coconut, a combination of sandwich ingredients that has long been a favorite of mine. I also like the variety of cheeses they use here, as well as the fresh spinach, which is really thick and dense. So far I haven’t tried a sandwich that I don’t like, though I must say, the one time I tried their breakfast sandwiches, I thought the way they shaped their eggs into patties was a bit strange, texture-wise. I haven’t tried their smoothies yet, but I’m sure the time will come. I like that it’s a little bit off the beaten path, as it never seems too crowded, and it’s sort of relaxing just taking the walk through Penn to get there.

I’ve only been here once but I was quite impressed. I shared a bowl of shrimp and corn chowder which was perfectly creamy and just a bit spicy. I also had a ham, brie and spinach panini which was likewise delicious. The ingredients were obviously fresh and of high-quality. The service was super friendly. The coffee was good but not great and the atmosphere feels a bit cafeteria-ish for the quality of the food. It’s located on the north side of Franklin Field which makes it a bit hard to find but it’s definitely worth seeking out.
