We saw this last year and absolutely loved it! There were groups there from all ages for all different reasons. If you want to do something different and drink a lot, highly recommended!

What a neat idea. it’s a fully interactive play about drinking, while you’re drinking adn the skits they do are about, well… drinking. Cool comedy troupe runs the show and it’s a great time.

It was an friend’s birthday so I thought an awesome way to pre-game would be to watch«Bye Bye Liver». I was actually surprised at how funny the show was. I thought it would be cheesy but it was actually very interactive and perfect for anyone who likes to drink and has crude humor. I was a little confused as to how to get drinks, at first I was going to the bar but then I realized we actually had servers. My only regret is that I wish I would have ordered a pitcher of beer! It would have been much more cost effective to go that route than to keep getting bottles. A drink menu would have also made my experience a little more enjoyable.

My first Unilocal review ever is being posted because of this show. I was planning a birthday party for a friend and wanted to do something different that would make the night stand out. This show was it — We organized a private show for a small group of friends. The woman who secured the reservation for us was great, and the staff was amazing. After our dinner ran late, we rushed over to the bar and instead of being upset that we were late — they helped us decorate the room! The show was a blast and everyone had an incredible time. I mean — a comedy show that incorporates drinking? — I wish I had thought of it… I would absolutely recommend this show for anyone who is looking to have a fun night out in the city.

I’ve gotta say, this is the first time I’ve ever been let down by Unilocal.I had high hopes for this comedy show based on reviews. It was definitely cool that they make the show more interactive by incorporating drinking games but like why should that take up more than half of your show. I think there were 3 acts and they were short. The girls in the play also annoyed me so badly. There were so many things they could have done to make this much better. They didn’t include any social media aspects. Like hello, drunk snapchatting? Nervously watching your like to follower ratio on instagram at midnight? Fine, you can just put me on stage(half kidding). Also it is so not 90 minutes. Its more like 50. I know I’m majorly hating, but there’s so much potential with this and such a great market for it being in the city! ugh

A comedy show that encourages/essentially requires drinking? Count. Me. In. I had a blast at this show last Saturday night with a couple of friends. We had purchased our $ 15 tickets separately and on different days, but when we walked in(through Urban Saloon) before the 8 p.m. show, my friends offered their names and then the host/actress turned to me and said, «And let me guess, are you Kathleen *Last-Name*?» I have NOIDEA how she guessed that. There were a ton of people there! Even more interesting: They appeared to know that we were one of the parties that wanted food and we were seated at the(only?) table with three chairs. I don’t know if that was just happenstance because we arrived early enough for a table or what, but I definitely recommend trying to snag one of the tables that wrap around the chairs. Why? Well, because Urban offers $ 6 flights on select beer options(among other affordable full-size beer options) and it’s tough to sit on a chair with a flight. Yeah. Six bucks for four little beers. Nuts. And trust me, you’re going to want that flight for the roughly hour and a half-long show. The show is a mix of drinking-related skits and interactive bits, like classic drinking games. For the games, they would roam the audience and call on people. It’s likely that I looked mortified when they chose me for a «Would You Rather?» question. It involved puppies and grandmothers and other things that I will not type in a review. It’s possible that all the beer has made an impact on my five-star rating. I assume this would not seem quite as hilarious while sober. But while slightly tipsy? Hello, Hello, Fun!

The best date night ever! We ate and drank for cheap and laughed hysterically. I was a little nervous because I’ve never been to anything like this before … Especially in such a small venue but it was a great night. It was so hard to find parking and I ended up parking 5 blocks away on a residential block, in front a construction site. I ruined one of my heels getting there but it was such a great I forgot all about the shoe halfway into the first act.

I’m always on the lookout for interesting ways to mix up my weekend and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Gautam’s review! This was a fun show and pretty cheap($ 15) although I’m mad I didn’t see the Unilocal check in deal(20% off for 5 tickets or more)! We pre ordered tickets online but I would recommend just getting them at the door, because some people didn’t end up coming and there were no refunds, there were still plenty of seats, and you should get there a bit early to get a good spot anyway. Just walk through Urban Saloon looking confused and someone will point you to the back room(past the men’s bathroom). There is an opening act stand up comedian(he was great!) and then the show starts, which is alternating skits about drinking and audience interaction(basically group drinking games). We had a great time, laughed and drank a lot and all agreed it was a great way to spend a Saturday night. The show runs a little under 2 hours and then you have time to make La Calaca Feliz’s late night happy hour 10 – 12! The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is that the drink service in the show was horrendous. I would order a drink halfway through my first drink and I would still be drinkless for a good 20 minutes after nursing my beer. My friends just started going out to the bar to get drinks. They should probably put another waitress back there. Plus side: there was also a limited food menu which was reasonably priced and decent food. Also the drinks were just regular bar prices($ 5 blue moon) not marked up drinks like you would see at Helium or other performance spaces. Definitely recommend!

If you haven’t seen Bye Bye liver make it a point to go its totally worth it. The show runs approximately 90 minutes and let me tell you I was laughing through the majority of the show, the only times when I wasn’t laughing was when I had to make a bathroom break because the show not only promotes laughter but a lot of drinking. The sketch comedy show is about different aspects of the bar scene that I’m sure everyone has experienced one way or the other. I don’t want to give out too much information because truly you should go in not knowing what to expect. Best part about the show is that its very cheap at $ 15.00 per person. Totally worth it! Go. Immediately.

My boyfriend and I came to a show and loved every second of it! They have a great cast who acts out skits, all related to drinking or drunkenness haha. They even have some interactive segments where they try to embarrass audience members(my boyfriend included) by asking them ridiculous hypothetical questions. The group hosts the show in the back room of Urban Saloon, and they have waitresses/waiters that keep bringing you drinks during the show so you don’t have to get up and go to the bar. I would recommend coming a little early so you can snag a table!

Well no one will win a tony for this theatrical engagement. What it was a group of talented people who poked fun at many of the things we have all seen or done while at a bar drinking or drunk. From the title do not get your hopes up that there will be free booze for you! Nope but the waitress makes sure you have drinks handy to help make the show better! Check it out what do you have to lose.

What a fun night!!! I wouldn’t call this production a theatrical masterpiece, but i will say it was a good time thru and thru. A group of 8 of us went, and we were a bit worried we wouldn’t be able to sit together, but they accomodated us without batting an eye. The play takes you through drunken cliché’s acted out in the most hillarious of ways. Between each sketch, there’s a game of sorts that also leads to lots of good laughs. We had a really nice time! Our waitress seemed a bit stressed though. She managed to keep our drinks full through the duration of the performance, but at the end, she had some trouble with our groupon vouchers and splitting the check up… but that’s really just nit picky… all in all… this was a really fun ‘something different’ change of pace. Also worth mentioning– the Urban Saloon full menu doesn’t apply in here. We had some people with their heart set on cheese steak dip that left slightly sad.

When I’m trying to decide if I should go to a show, restaurant, etc, Unilocal is my trusted friend. Two 5 start reviews convinced me to go(thanks guys) and Unilocal was, once again, right! I really enjoyed this show, based on sketchs and drinking games and I highly recommend it. It’s in a private room at Urban Saloon but they serve food and drinks. The show is at 8 but try to get there early(the open the doors at 7.30) to get a table if you are planning on eating during the show.
