I came here for the first time a few days ago, in dire need of eyebrow work. It had been quite a while and my eyebrows were a furry hot mess. Anyway. Not sure how great they are in the nail department BUT if you’re looking to have your eyebrows done, I definitely recommend this place. I’m very particular about my eyebrows and the lady(Eve) listened to my preferences and was patient with me as I went on and on about what I needed. She understood and was able to fix them exactly how I wanted. Pretty affordable too. It cost me $ 5-$ 6.

Terrible manicure by Jason! Thumb nail smeared and not fixed for $ 10.00, it lasted 2 days. The massage with the spa pedicure was nice but the actual PEDICURE was not good. It’s been a few months so I had a lot of dead skin and my cuticles needed work, that they did not get. It was a soak, a little scrub, a nice massage and then polish. I wanted and needed a pedicure and for $ 33.00, I didn’t get it. I can go anywhere for those prices and get better work. I’ll never go to C&C again.

The service was good and they did my nails pretty fast but I got gel and it chipped the next day. I usually get my nails done near North Philly but I heard this was a good place since I was near there already. But from my experience of Gel, don’t get it here

Awesom Experence got a head, face, neck message. Was so great and reasonably priced treated wife and sister in law, and hell I’m frugal as you can get. I knew the Pedicures were awesome and priced so great at 20.00 bucks, they even message you a little when there done. Where can you get that kind of service and value today C&C

Absolutely horrible, I called ahead of time to make sure they had room for me. I gave specific details of what I wanted during the phone call and when I first walked in. Soak off my old nails and put on a new full set with designs on each nail and a pedicure. I usually spend about $ 60-$ 90 at a nail salon not including my tips. I’m a hairstylist so my hands always have to look good. It wasn’t too busy when I first walked in maybe about four other clients there. They soak my feet and I waited about a half hour for somebody to start. It seems like no one understood English. The pedicure was awesome which is the only reason I gave it one star. During my pedicure is when it started getting busy I can honestly say about five more women walk in. When they got to my nails the guy started breaking them off when I asked him to stop but he just continued. That’s when I realize they don’t understand what I’m saying. I tried to explain to him that I wanted them soaked off. Soaking them is a lot less painful. Finally he started putting on a new full set; I like my nails to have some length considering I’m a hairstylist my nails help part the hair better and give a more efficient and amazing shampoo. By the time he was shaping them I had no length! It honestly looked like I had crooked fingers! The acrylic was way to thick and lumpy. I was so upset I asked him to stop like five times however he just continued. I pointed out a few things that I did not like and another person told me he was going to go back and fix them. After two hours I was over it! I kindly asked him to stop pulled my Hand away and told him I will pay for the work he did. I’m not saying he wasn’t trying so I did still tip him $ 10 and I also gave the lady that did my pedicure $ 15 on top of $ 45 I was charged. got there at five and didn’t leave until 7:45. Which is 45 minutes past their closing time. This is the second time what a bad experience, I would not be returning! So my search for a decent nail salon continues.

Paid $ 20 dollars for an amazing pedicure. I highly recommend this place if you like time being spent on getting your legs and feet massaged.

Go-to place for a great pedicure and my eyebrows. Love everything about it. Only had one problem here. I have a split nail on my left thumb and the nail tech ripped it off even more than it already was, holy crap that hurt. Was very apologetic though and took part of the bill off. Love this place.

Even when it’s packed(which it usually is) this place is good. Very quick and clean which is hard to find. They’re gentle but effective. I’ve gotten eyebrows and a manicure here. Check out the cute little nail decals because they always turn out super well! The only legit criticism I have for C&C is their eyebrow care. I have bled twice, but I’ve been here loads of times. I don’t like when they do my brows too thin which happens quite often. You really have to say you only want your brows cleaned up if you don’t want 2/3rds ripped off. That’s what makes me give them a three. Watch your brows!

is poor, low quality supplies, dont speak good English, the guy use oil as top coat and looked at me like I did something, I paid 50 dollars for the spa pedi and several customers witnessed this, the bottom of my feet was peeling and the nail polish was smeared on my toes and the asian woman came over and said in front of the witnesses that she couldn’t do more I have to come back. never ever will I go back… dont waste your money

Great experience and since I can get it done at work I’m pretty picky. Nice lady named Lynn fixed my ingrown with no problems. Great massage and my pedicure was awesome. Then I go to the tie dryer and another lady gave me a neck massage for a couple minutes FYI they need a tip jar for her because I already paid and was not expecting that treat at the end. Will definitely be going back!

I really do enjoy this nail salon, but today was just not a good expirence. I went to get a pedi and refill and take advantage of my gift certificate I got as a gift, I had someone new do my pedi, pedi went well and good, when it came time to my refill was where it descended downhill, I asked for a slight cutdown and next thing I know hes chissiling away with the little tool thing, he cut my cuticles at least 3 times and now my nails are uneven, good thing I got a dark color and a full nail polish, not french or design so its not as noticeable, the owner then talks to the tech in Vietnamese, looks and points at me then at my nails, I hope she was just saying how my nails were crooked. This is one of the only places I get my nails done I hope the tech can improve for the future or get people who know what their doing in there.

After hearing good things about this place I drove over Friday afternoon with high hopes. It was busy but there were plenty of staff so no waiting. I was brought to a pedicure station and my tech got to work. Decent trimming, exfoliation, and massage. Pretty much a basic pedicure with some hot stones added(not really mind blowing though they were out for 2 mins). I opted for a simple design and it came out rather awful. My mani was ok, nothing to write home about. I thought this nail salon would really stand out but in the end it was pretty run if the mill. I won’t go back since it’s not worth the extra 15 minute drive.

Well, I learned something today. Northeast Philly has a gem and I’m not afraid to share it. I had off from work today. Way behind on my up keep. I ran a 10 mile race yesterday and was feeling pretty beat up. I needed a mani/pedi. My normal spot is Old City Nails. I was crashing at my BF’s and drove by C&C on my way into the city and thought, «why not»? BEST. DECISION. EVER. I always thought I was getting a deal at Old City with mani/pedi/eyebrow wax for $ 32. Well, hold onto your hats. I had a pedicure with a looooonnnnggggg foot rubbins which included hotstones. Massage chair going simulataniously, I thought«whatever they charge me, I’ll gladly pay». I was jello by the end. Got my eyebrows done next which is cool so I’m not so red on my way out. Move on to manicure. Relaxing, and she did a phenominal job. I go to pay and it was $ 31. A dollar less than Old City. Super happy with this score, I settle my bill, tip a bunch, finish the manicure and I was taken to the drying area where I then recieved a back and shoulder massage!!! WTH? What did I do to deserve this? I got so much more than I am used to for a dollar less and no worries of finding/paying for parking. I’m sorry Old City Nails, you lost me. Forever. I got so much more for my money than I ever expected. I know why I’m the first to review. No one wants this info to leak out. I do! Spend your money here!!!
