The Caring Center is an amazing place. The teachers are all wonderful — warm, fun, cheerful, gentle, and welcoming. Everyone in the center will know your child’s name within a few weeks of starting(this includes the front desk staff and teachers in other classrooms!). The children get a lot of outdoor time on the playground and walks, and do fun activities inside like parachute play, water tables, arts and crafts, etc. The older kids go on educational field trips. Mostly, everyone just seems to be having fun. One of the perks of Caring Center is that they have their own kitchen, so you don’t need to provide meals and snacks — the kitchen makes fresh food for every meal. It is so nice not to have to pack meals! Another nice thing is that the building was built as a daycare — so it’s not some old building that is falling apart, and it has some nice features like windows that look like you’re in a submarine. :) I would recommend Caring Center to anyone looking for a truly caring place to send their baby or child. The only possible downside is the location(if you work in center city), but it’s right across the river from the art museum and a fairly quick walk, drive, or bus/trolley ride into center city.
