I am also surprised by the negative reviews here! I am a vegetarian and I absolutely love Casablanca. I get the«everything» vegetarian sandwich 2x a week… only $ 4.50 and comes with falafel, tomato, lettuce, stuffed grape leaves, feta, tahini and hummus. I ask for hot sauce, raw onions and tabouli as well. delicious!!! The woman working the truck is wonderful and always remembers my order. Easily my favorite food truck along Spruce.

tried for the first time today. there are a slew of other carts offering similar fare and doing a much better job at it. I got the kefte kebab platter, which consists of some meat grilled on skewers and serve over rice with a yogurt sauce, with a side of hummus and a cilantro-tomato salad(I think it’s called tahini). meat was on the chewy side, rice was sticky and strange-colored, tahini was too green, and I don’t even know how to describe how bad the hummus was. also pricier than most carts offering analogs. do not recommend

I am surprised to see that there are no good reviews for Casablanca food cart. I am a vegetarian, and I have been going to this cart for the past 1.5 years or so. I simply love the veg«everything» falafel sandwich, which has 3 falafels, tomato, lettuce and other veggies, stuffed grape leaves, tahini, and hummus! I ask for hot sauce and usually say no to raw onions added on top. It’s delicious and perfect to quench my falafel craving! The lady is warm and welcoming as well.

I tried the falafel sandwich and it was not very good. Falafel was dry and not particularly flavourful.

I recently visited Casablanca for the first time in years, and now I remember why I stayed away for so long. First, I waited for ages even though there were only 3 people ahead of me in line. This was definitely the slowest service I’ve ever experienced at a food truck. Then, when my turn finally, came, I ordered a platter with falafel and baba ganoush. The cook cracked open a packet of frozen, pre-packaged falafel balls and I immediately knew that I was in trouble. Both taste and texture were a disaster… very bland spicing and *seriously* overcooked to the point that they were very crusty almost to the middle and almost looked burned. The rest of the platter was equally unimpressive… with lots of overly sticky and soft rice(and, lets face it, rice is just cheap filler even its better rice than this). The mediocre baba ganoush was the highlight, but it was nothing to write home about. I *hate* wasting food, but I didn’t finish this. I will definitely not go back.
