I came across this company by searching google for «professional headshot in Philadelphia», total shot in the dark. I was SO lucky, however, to find Chris! I have never had such good luck before with a random google search! Chris is a truly talented photographer, and is very accessible. He was able to schedule me ASAP and a few days later, my retouched photograph is on my desktop ready to be uploaded to all my websites. I did the basic $ 99 session, which is perfect for a quick corporate headshot. He dropboxed me the photos that same night, and I had 26 photos to choose from (he will retouch your favorite one and make you look flawless, seriously). But you still get to KEEP all of the others ones in that dropbox folder (which is good just to have) because he’s awesome and doesn’t brand them with a logo all over them or anything. My only tip for someone getting this package is to make sure you take ample photos ! In a few of them, my hair was not to my particular liking (crazy girl, I know), so I wish I would have checked in the mirror in the middle of the shots to just check that my hair was still in proper place. Chris even offered to do a reshoot for me at a discounted rate, if I could not find a shot that I loved (told you, crazy girl about my hair) — but with his talent, I was able to choose one that’s perfect. He gives you the full 30 minutes to use and will take as many shots as you want! Take advantage of that. The studio is adorable and there’s a full bathroom with a full length mirror there to touch up hair/​makeup if the Philly weather kicks your butt on the way in. I highly recommend Christopher Descano Photography. 100% professional, talented, and personable. Don’t waste your time with anyone else!

I found Christopher through Unilocal,and I think to date it has been the best decision Unilocal has helped me make.
We needed some head-​shots and office pictures ASAP (like, yesterday), and Chris gave us great head-​shots and office shots IMMEDIATELY. (When the shooting was done, he gave me his memory card to import every image he had just taken on to my lap-​top. Talk about instant gratification!)
He had great ideas on some additional images to include on our website (and then took said shots), and he spent ample time with each employee to make sure their images were captured in the truest, most flattering ways.
He was delightful to work with, and the hardest part now is going to be picking out only one favorite shot of each person to touch-​up and use.
Everyone on our end was very impressed with him, and we will be recommending and using him again in the future.

Christopher was wonderful to work with. I looked at his portfolio online, and that’s exactly what I got… professional images that make you look like the best version of yourself. He was true to what he advertised.
Read his website so that you know what the packages are, and think about what works for you. Once you know what you want, the process is that you put down a payment to hold your time, and he’ll be there at the studio ready to shoot. Also, he works with a wonderful woman for make-​up if you want to book her. She’s phenomenal.
All around he was really professional — he was on-​time, had everything coordinated, and you get instant receipts for your payments via email (which I loved). He asks you what you want, makes some suggestions (that were fantastic in my opinion) and really puts you at ease throughout the process. He’s worth what he charges and more.
His turnaround time on getting you photographs is also amazing… and he sends you a disk of the whole shoot. So, you don’t have to ‘special order’ only certain pictures — you have them all to crop, use, print, etc. any ones you want. It’s a great deal.
He knows lighting, setting, and how to just get a great image. I’d use him again in the future, and I wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone his way. Thanks Chris!
