I didn’t expect to have such a pleasant experience getting my car inspected, but the staff were all super nice and friendly.
They took my car in right away, which was wonderful.
The facility waiting room is very comfortable and spotless. They had FRIENDS on, the chairs were comfy, and it was a nice atmosphere. Bonus: you can bring dogs!

Excellent customer service. Katie and the rest of the staff is SO friendly. Prices are reasonable and they do their best with getting the work done quickly. I came in at 5:30pm and they close at 6pm and they were still able to get my flat tire fixed. I highly recommend them!

I had a tire that would not hold air, so I took it to CK because it was closest to my house. I had never been there before. Very friendly and fast service. They found a nail and patched it up for next to nothing. Fortunately I did not need a new tire. I think they explained my options well and did not push a big sale. I will be taking my car to them for the annual inspection plus oil change this month so I will update after that.

Meant to write this last month:
Needed to get the annual inspection for my car and called to see if an appointment would be necessary. The person spoke to on the phone was very kind and told me that it is a first come first serve basis– but the wait would not be long. And she was right.
Great service.
Also, CK Auto Image stocks all sorts of OEM fluids just in case you ever need them. It definitely saves time from making a trip to the dealership– or waiting on that package from Amazon.

I’m really impressed with this shop grate customers service and the mechanics actually know what there doing. And on top of that there shop is spotless really clean and neat

I just moved to the area and needed to get my car inspected, so I wandered down the street to find CK was the closest spot. After I dropped my car off, I got a call from the mechanic telling me that the reverse lights were out. I went over and he thoroughly explained what all of the options were, and how much it could potentially cost. After he went in an did the diagnostics, he found that it was just a fuse and didn’t charge me a penny for the exchange. I received text message updates about the progress of my car, which was incredibly convenient during the work day. Everyone was honest, friendly, and professional. I will be using CK for all of my car needs!

Just a quick update since it’s been a couple of years since my original review. CK continues to provide capable, honest and prompt service. They have, almost without exception, been able to work on my car even when I call them in the late morning. Before they do any work, Katie calls to give a detailed explanation of the items requiring repair and the cost. They’re never pushy about the work and I’ve never had them recommend work that was not necessary. More often the case, they’ve found that less work needed to be done and the cost was less than they had been quoted. The prices still seem quite reasonable.
Still my go to place for auto service. They should be yours too.

Went in for a tire swap. Total cost was $ 108, and I left a happy customer. Communication is spectacular and they let me put on the March Madness games while waiting. In total it took 3 hours to get through queue and the job done. Not bad for walking in late afternoon when they’re busiest. There are several places to eat including a Vietnamese sandwich shoppe and breakfast diner that are really good. Ask them for recommendations on food and explore the area — lots to see.

Dan was cheap today and saved me a lot of money I drive a 1993 Volvo 850 and the rear shock mounts were broke at first he was not sure if he could get the bolts out to remove the mount I tried to remove the mounts before bringing it here I could not get it out I even bought an offset metric wrench trying to loosen the bolts with visegrips and the wrench the mount and the shock kept spinning. I had to bite the bullet and wind up paying the repair shop and having them remove it with an impact wrench in the end it came out to be $ 45+tax for everything great service.

As a guy who would regularly do his own auto maintenance and any jobs that didn’t require a lift, moving into the city and finding a reliable mechanic was a daunting task. That being said I don’t think I could have found a better place to take my jeep. All their prices are very reasonable and every job is done in a timely manner. But the reason I continue to take the jeep here is because of their honesty. It is extremely rare to ask a mechanic to change differential and transfer case fluid and flush the radiator only to have them call you within a half hour saying that you don’t need any of that. I point this out because they could have charged me for 2 out of 3 of these jobs and I would have had no idea if it was done or not.

I went in a while back for a routine oil change, as a walk in. Staff was super friendly and the waiting area was really nice, with comfy chairs and free soft drinks. I don’t think I ended up waiting longer than half an hour, and they even put my football game on the tv for me as I waited! I was quoted the price before all services and they let me know that it wasn’t quite time for a tire rotation, but they could do it if I wanted. I appreciated them letting me know and said I’d save it for next time. Would definitely go back here!

I have been going here for years and I have never had a more honest mechanic. They always tell you before doing things and for simple fixes they rarely charge for labor. I would tell anyone to bring their car here!

Excellent customer service. My first time there and only got an oil change, but the price was good and explanation of options excellent. 4 instead of 5 because I had to wait about an hour, but I just dropped in without an appointment and didn’t mind so much since they have a very nice waiting room. This is my new place.

Be careful with these guys. I had a light pop up on my dashboard and went to them. They told me I blew a head gasket and said it would cost $ 1900 to fix. Then, I told them I wanted to get a second opinion and they did not charge me for the diagnosis. However, when I got my second opinion, I was told the car had nothing wrong with it.
What happened was I had ran out of coolant, and CK thought my car was leaking water and had water in my tailpipe when it didn’t. It was just condensation. They filled up my coolant and then said the car leaked 8oz of coolant when they ran the engine for 30 minutes. (Why are you running the engine if the head gasket is blown!?) They just didn’t know how to troubleshoot my problem, so they decided to quote me $ 1900 and say the head gasket was blown.
One question you might have: Why did you run out of coolant? Aren’t you supposed to have that topped off whenever you get your oil changed? Yes. Yes, you are. I had my oil changed 4 months before this issue. Guess who changed it. CK Auto Image.
Long story short, the car works perfectly now and I didn’t have to pay $ 1900 to make that happen.

I have been to Ck auto a few times over the years. Spring 2002, I had an Alpine head unit installed. Fine job. This was when their store was across the street from the current location. In 2008, I went to CK to get my Pioneer head unit installed in my S2K. Again. Excellent job and pretty quick also. So it’s been many moons since I’ve been in but perhaps I will when I need a car stereo or performance part.

After doing some research I chose CK to change out the speakers and head unit on my car. I have a ’99 Camry with the OEM cd/​tape deck and speakers throughout.
1^st I called and got a price quote for parts and labor to change out the entire system. The gentleman (I forgot his name) was extremely helpful and walked me through all the parts and labor expenses. He also informed me that I could purchase my own unit and speakers and have them install it. I chose the latter.
I purchased some speakers and headunit off of Amazon. Went down for my appointment, sat there for about 2 hours and got my car done. Speakers sound great. The wait area was very nice: they even offered coffee. I read and watched TV for the time being and before I knew it my car was done.
They took all the old parts and placed them in the box for the new speakers and put everything back in my trunk. Overall, I know exactly where I am going for any car audio related service.
Lastly, I was not sure if I should get an amp for my speakers. Apparently, headunits are tremendously underpowered for the speakers. The associate, told me to drive around for a few months and see what I think of the sound as it stands. Should I feel that I needed louder, more crisp sounds, to come and consider getting an AMP. Thankfully, after following his advice, my speakers are just what I need w/​out the need for an additional AMP. Overall, this place was great!!!
